Just beautiful!! He didn't usually sing Danny Boy at his concerts, did he? I wonder if someone else knows for sure. It's a somewhat challenging song to sing well too, given the range.

This is first time I've seen what Elvis' coffin picture looked like. It must have been the picture someone took on the sly. Regardless, he looks so peaceful and looks years younger too.

Laurie, one comment on you-tube said that Elvis sang DANNY BOY on stage only ONCE, and that's what we have HERE from first of June 1976.
I had read many comments over the years concerning the coffin-picture. Many were offended that it was published.
I share your opinion that he looks peaceful and much younger!

We do not have cable out here yet and so I can not go to hear the song. My son-in-law is downloading the interview from elvis2001.net because dial up takes half a day to load such an interview and then the rest to download it!!
Danny Boy is a beautiful song but I never knew that he sang it live but then there is lots I do not know about this loving man as yet.

I have heard this song before, and it makes me Cry everytime I hear it. It is like Elvis is saying GoodBYE! :cry: FairyTale!
