Did Elvis ever see or sense any ghosts at Graceland?
Thought this would be a fun question to ask since, being close to Halloween, it is the time of year for ghost and goblin stories.
Plus I wanted an excuse to post the top ten all time ghost photos link:

He only mentioned seeing his mother on the stairs, in his room standing by his bed, felt her touch him, in the kitchen at the stove one year, and in the back yard. She always smiled at him. He saw his Uncle once he thought-his Aunt Delta's husband? I'm not sure but it couldn't have been Travis. He also thought there were people, he thought maybe indians buried in the grounds of Graceland, that he "saw painted horses with riders, fighting and falling to the ground out there-in a rain and windy night-he "heard it" then looked out, then went down and out side and "saw and heard it" like he said, a movie running on a big screen but it was blurry by the rain fall. He went out looking for hoof prints, fully expected to find some it was so "real" but there was nothing and he said he "felt their spritis" and they were there, he just knew it and he wouldn't do any digging in that area -when he put in the exercise room and court he put it close because he didn't want to dig "out there"-he might distrub their resting place-he said it was "hollowed gound or something". He didn't want to stir up any "hard feelings". He said he told his dad who said he never liked to walk around out there in the dark of night, there were "things" out there. That's all he said about it. I don't know if any battles were fought in that part of the land or not but if so it would have been indians and whitemen he was referring to, not civil war.wjh

Thanks Wanda for the info. I thought I recalled Elvis having seen or sensed his mother around. I didn't know about the Indian ghostly activities at the place though. Seems like many of those old southern antebellum houses are haunted, tho' Graceland I'm pretty sure was built well after the Civil War.
Nancy Rooks writes in her book, Inside Graceland, that after Elvis' death strange things started happening. Doorbells would ring and no one would be there. Lights would go on and off in the trophy room by themselves. Doors would slam by themselves; there'd be footsteps upstairs when no one was up there, and she'd hear a voice coming from a room only to find no one there. She says one time "someone" grabbed her ankle when she was lying down sick, tho' no one was there. It was as if someone was concerned that she might get in trouble and wanted to wake her.

Let's all send her good vibes and wishes that she will get over all that and be able to enjoy feeling her daddy and his momma. They probably want to share things with her and she just isn't ready for it yet. Let's send her the strength and acceptance so she can. wjh

Now this is interesting, as El'vis "told" me that the Graceland was on sacred Native American ground...I think I posted this somewhere here already.

I would have loved to be there when those things happened and to just stop and say Elvis? I hear you-can you speak to me? And then if he couldn't I would have just sat down and talked to him, so maybe he would have been learning to communicate with earthbound people too. I think they can, mentallly and even verbably as I've heard my aunt call my name so loudly I answered! She had been gone two years. Twice that happened-I was going to classes/spriritual classes with my sis in law and was to think on someone I wanted to hear from but I was not thinking of her-and she is the one who came in and the medium lady from out of the blue brought her forth and talked about the irragation cannals in Idaho where she took me for a month when I was a kid to visit her mom and dads far-I played in those ditches, rode their big plow horses bareback and had a great time. We went on the train and the medium mentioned the train, the sleeper car with the curtains and the steward who made sure I was safe several times a night since I was the only small girl child on the train. That convinced me. So I would h ave loved to be there when Elvis tried to communicate with those people who were not tuned though he had been. He said he would do it-he would if it were possible and he would let me know it was him-he didn't know how yet as he wasn't gone then, but that he would learn and to be ready-don't be afraid he told me, I will take care of you, nothing bad will come through from me. I won't let it.
And I've not had any bad experiences but have had some great ones with him and I knew it was him-beyond a doubt. I wish it could be daily, could talk to him and just listen to him...but he must be awfully busy...so many feel the same way. I'm happy with what I have-
so many memories but I'd just like to feel him again-
a hug, hold his hand, when I go there now, it's back to the last time...his head on my shoulder and he left tears on my neck...shoot, can't even think about it now, sorry. wjh

Don't be sorry, dear Wanda. Of course you have strong reasons to feel a great emotion writing about it. I'm not you, but tears has came to my eyes when I read:
"He said he would do it-he would if it were possible and he would let me know it was him-he didn't know how yet as he wasn't gone then, but that he would learn and to be ready-don't be afraid he told me, I will take care of you, nothing bad will come through from me. I won't let it."
And, Wanda, this is not "bla-bla-bla" talk, but I do tell you very sincerely that I know that he is very close to you, taking care of you with all his Love.

I think so also, even Starla has had some "experiences" that she will not discuss-not even with me! She says she hasn't dreamed of him at all much, but other things regarding work and being on the freeways so much-I don't know what but I'm sure it involved close calls and maybe someone helping keep her clear? She's always out in traffic and so far, avoided every accident that was anthing serious-the one she was in, she escaped with out even a bruise or scratch and her car was totaled by the insurance but because it was rare and a collector car they paid to have it repaired-it's a Starion made by Mitsubishi a few years-looks like Porsch and handles like one-she fell in love with it at 16 and then when had a job found one and bought it-her dream car-it still looks current in it's design and has all black leather upholstery and is like getting into a rocket to sit in. It's old now and still runs but needs more work and has a lot of money invested in it...she's going to sell it finally. It represented her "growing up" days-her first purchase of her own car etc;...Elvis would have loved it too, it's that kind of car.
No one knows what it is to look at it-they think Porsche.
And I think he looks after her-he was really fond of her and spoiled her as rotten as I would let him. She is the person she is because of Elvis' teachings and instructions and his care. He was a very good daddy, not afraid to give of himself and to tell kids what they needed to hear in a way they would listen. He became like one of them, he even told her about boys and how to handle them and what not to allow-you can bet he did that one! He told me "don't want to have come down there an' take a hold of one of 'em an' hafta shake the waddin' out of 'em so just told her what to do!" And insisted she take Karate and she did-enough to defend herself if need be. wjh

I JUST HAD A CLOSE EXPERIENCE MYSELF HERE A FEW MINUTES AGO WITH ELVIS, AND IT FELT SO GOOD BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN MISSING THAT I PUT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE I CAN DREAM THREAD. AS FAR AS FEELING A TOUCH LORD HOW I WISH ELVIS WOULD IN SOME WAY, I HAVE SMELLED HIS CIGAR SMOKE. WANDA DO YOU THINK MAYBE LISA'S MOTHER AS DISCOURAGED LISA INTO NOT WHATING SOMETHING TO HAPPEN CONCERNING ELVIS? I PRAY SHE HASN'T AND I WILL BE PRAYING THAT LISA ALLOWS HER DADDY TO COME TO HER. FAIRYTALE!

Dear Elvis! He never missed a chance to inspire or teach others about what he sensed was needed. He not only attended material needs, but also afective and spiritual too.
FairyTale,
I'm going to look for your post about your last experience.
