100% agreed!
As I having trouble lately with the Internet line (too much charge in the zone, it seems) and there are often failures or it goes soooo sssloooow that it takes half a hour to post something, I ask excuses to my friends of this Forum because I miss posts, sometimes partially addressed to me.
Dear Zey-Zia, thank you for your loving comments on my mother. I'll take to her your greetings.

I echo Sarena's comments above and hope your computer trouble will resolve itself soon (and maybe with a little help from our El'vis too! ) but no excuses necessary and great to see you posting whenever you're able to visit!
Love & Light always!

I just ran across the corespondence I have concerning Elvis' cousin Gene Smitth who did a book entitled My Man Friday a few years ago. It was a very good book about the early days, his time spent "guarding" Elvis and all the things they went through on those early day tours etc:. He is a great and nice fellow and loved his cousin and did his best for him during some trying and sleepless times. I hope it's still available because I highly recommend it as an addition to anyone's collection of Elvis related books. He's one of the "good guys" too. Elvis thought a great deal of him, his silent companion most of the time, but always looking out for Elvis. His mom Gladys asked him to look after her boy, and he surely did.
The publisher was: Light Of Day Publishing, P.O. Box 210379 Nashville, TN 37221 and this was back in the 90's. Maybe Amazon has it or could get it if this address is no longer good. The publishers was Larry Arnett
the phone # (615) 662-5568. The mm dudes gave Gene a hard time too-it was totaly stupid of them...but that figures...wjh _________________ Wanda June Hill

My heart concurs too with what these lovely ladies have said above dear Amanda! You help add such LIGHT to our little place of LOVE here whenever you post. Also, my thanks to you sweet Wanda for the information on Gene's book. I wasn't aware that he had written one either so I will definitely be looking into getting this one too---especially as you said since he was one of the "good guys." I know he did go everywhere with Elvis and helped him out alot during those early days and my thoughts on the mm guys giving him a hard time UN-NECESSARILY>>>> Sweet Ingrid thanks for letting us know about the availability of this book on Amazon too. |

Sounds a very interesting book and will add to my 'wish-list'!! Agreed, dear Mari
Like you also, I would say that the mm guys gave many 'outside' the circle' a real hard tiime of it, un-necessarily as you say! _________________ Seeks to encourage and inspire! |
