Hi Amanda,

I can tell you what I heard from Wanda who communicated with Zey for a time. From what I recall of our conversation, the government of Turkey has become a more hardline one, either refusing or limiting people access to the internet. Also, as I understand it, she can no longer drive anywhere unescorted. Her brother has to take her. Plus she is worried she may be forced to wear a burka in public.
Wanda's computer is still at the shop by the way.

It's hard to believe things may be going to that extreme in her great and beautiful country. I visited it some years ago and more recently did friends of mine and the situation you come to describe through Wanda comments, was absolutely not present then. Just the contrary.

Sending trillions Love's bubbles to Zey and her family and prayers for Light for the whole population of that historic ancient country.

hi babies..I miss you all too much..Laurie thanks for caring to learn about the s..t going on here but there must be a major misunderstanding.No! I don't need an escort or such and no one can make me dress like those idiots,I'll fight to death with them even if that would happen one day and you can be sure I'd stick their burkas in their throats or wherever else ..they can't control the internet for now but the media is in their hands,there's only one tv channel who fights against gov.,it's coming slowly but surely with the help of U.S gov's "green line politics" in the area (please don't take anything personally,it's about politics,nothing to do with American people,my friends and relatives are among them as well)..but more than half of the country still believe in secular system and to the modern republic that was formed by the great leader M. K. Atatürk's and people trust the Army as the guardian of the secularism in the country..smells like a civil war I'm afraid..anyway we'll see what happens..
as for my disappearing from forum,well it is another story,I'm having difficulty in keeping my sanity and mind together, trying hard to stay attached to this earth and life,I feel so far away even from my body and mind and I'm beginning to like this better..we may say,I wasn't in me for a while so wasn't able to join you..really hard to explain but I'm glad I found the courage to write again.love you all so much..

Zey, it's so good to hear from you! Please know you are sorely missed! And it's just not the same w/o that wonderfully obnoxious dry humor of yours. I can't count the # of times your posts had me laughing.

And I'm so sorry about the misunderstanding. I thought I had my facts straight. Guess not. Good to know that internet access has not been cut off in your country. But I'm disheartened to hear that you are going through such hard times. I wish I could help you somehow whatever your troubles may be. Please know I'll be praying for you.

my dear friends,you are a few of my blessings and your thoughtfulness and loving spirits needed in my life,specially these days..Dear Laurie,as a result of some evil political acts ,it is wished for Turkey to lose it's democratic situation and get into a chaotic routine so it can be collapse easily.unfortunately many groups working for this, from outside and inside of the country,specially the powerfull countries who wish to hold control in their hands .I know it is intended to control people's rights of information and communication in the country, so everything is possible such as losing my internet acces etc,it's just in the process of beginning,I just hope people will awake from their deep sleep and speak up for their rights..not just in here,I mean in the whole globe..

ZEY! Great to have you back too! It is my fault I guess that there was a "misunderstanding" and I was worried about the burka because I knew you'd burn holes it if with you firey breath etc: anyway, and having an escort-I understood that you couldn't drive to town without your brother with you or it was coming to that. Whatever, I am so glad it's not that way as it would be such a strain on your little body when your spirit grew to be 9 feet tall and strong as a dragon ready to fight! That's supposed to be humor-but really, is it? I am glad to know your okay still and pray for you and your lovely family too. I just got my computer fixed, the guys were Elvis fans, they did a good job and read some of the documents they were saving for me. So I got a few "free" progrmas to replace those they wiped clean as my computer was sick with a bad virus thing and the only cure was to clean the hard drive and start over. I hate Microsoft so they gave me another program that works with it but is not it. Hee-hee, got rid of that mother.... to borrow a phrase. well, actually it's not your fault that misunderstanding ,I guess it's my terrible English which wasn't enough to explain the situation exactly ..but those things will happen actually,yes,it is coming to that,it's just the matter of time,yet when it happens,me and my family won't obey their rules..never,noooo way!!..so thank you for all of your prayers and wishes of courage, we need too badly.Hope you managed to clean all the dust after those tragic fires..I'm so sorry that happened again and many prescious creatures burned there.

No Zey, there is nothing wrong with your English! I have been hearing and reading things and from what you said and all I have read about what the intent is there, I took it to mean the worst of course! And then when another lady from Turkey said she could not travel without a male relative where she lived, and from all that we spoke about, it seemed that was what you were thinking but couldn't voice so I thought the worst. I hope that your country will not go that route-it is such a backward step and I can't see the purpose in it at all. People have so much potential but if they are enslaved they lose it and become mechanical -even their captors. I know that your family will be safe, prayer is like a wall and holds back evil and as Elvis said, "Prayer is our shield as well as our salvation...hold up the amour of prayer and the faith of hope and love from our Lord and kit will buffer everything for us." He sure did that and it worked for him, look at the torment and hateful things that he endured and he made it daily even with his body falling apart as he put it. He still kept the faith and took care of things. How I don't know, I guess I am not strong of faith like he was but all we can do is try and believe in the best yet to come. Love ya, wjh
