Elvis - A Lighted Candle

Hi there was just reading, the messages in this part of forum, been engrossed for some time, my late nan was a medium, so i tend to lean towards the spiritual, after all ive read on this site it seems elvis was spiritual too.
would you think me mad if i said that i seem to be able to sense when there is a elvis product in a store, ie book or disc, i call it my elvis antennae and i always have a strong compulsion to turn round when i feel it, 9 times out of 10 he is there not in spirit (i wish)
and if i go into a shop playing music Elvis always comes on the radio or whatever they are playing, and even when i stepped into a taxi he was playuing on mans radio next second.
i tend to think its elvis letting us know he is still here in spirit, i mean does any one else have that, or does it just sound mad, i know im not by the way lol.
its happened so many times it makes me tend to believe thats true he does give us little signs maybe.
im enjoying reading all your messages on here, you all seem so nice.

Regularly Julie, nearly daily, at the grocery store and on tv- it's weird alright! Sometimes it's a like he's saying hello and other times to answer something asked. I believe he is and that other people gone on try to do the same things with their loved ones but they don't have access to the same kind of things as Elvis- being in song and on film and in books he can "use" all those things to do it. Regular people don't have those Prompts...and have to do the normal kinds of tyring. But I think if they want they can-most I think give up because "regular" people don't notice, can't see or don't believe...and that's probable for the best in most cases...people have to live their lives. With Elvis-he was a born teacher and spent his life reaching people...it's natural for him to keep doing so and it's easier as I said because he "left" so much of himself here... have a nice day, wjh

Yes, me too - has happened specially when there is no way a particular song (that one you seemed to NEED just right at that moment!) could have been played by coincidence, wierd? Yes, you betcha it is but kind of reassuring too, right?! Sue

thanks to everyone im reasured about that, ive often wondered if it is him trying to show he is still there, i feel if he is ever near he is laughing.
and yes sue its true its always the right song i need at the time.
its happened so many times i just smile and think of him, i even say good morning elvis to his picture not being mad i just like to say it now and then
its ok it dont speak back, though i wish it did.
i find when im faced with a choice of doing something i try to think what would Elvis want me to do, and try to make him proud hoping its right choice, whatever the doubters say i believe loving Elvis enriches our lives not harms it, ive always said Elvis should fit in with your life never take it over completely, and its that way for me, he is just in it, and makes me a better person i think.
ive heard all the poison people say to be nasty, and i defend him always.

Sure, I get what you're saying and Elvis is such a great part of my life, love him dearly and has had a great influence/beneficial effect on me so RIGHT ON, Julie!

Can't say that I've heard much of Elvis' music played on the radio in the area I live. Even my requests to the radio stations get ignored. So this makes kind of sad, but I have hope that some day this will change. I understand in other parts of the country, his music does get played.

I will say at least a couple of days a week I wake up in the morning with one of Elvis' songs running thru my mind, & then I end up humming it the rest of the morning. I listen to all of Elvis' music, but I find it interesting that a majority of the songs I wake up to are his gospel songs. Maybe some spiritual significance there.

yes laurie i do that too, sometimes the song goes on and on till i recognise it and then it goes, sometimes it answers a question.
i believe its elvis contacting us as it would be easy to do that way i guess.
have you had a go at the ask elvis bit of elvis news site its fun.
i think its someone typing resonse, but i asked him if he hears us talk to him in heaven he said yes very clearly, some answers are a bit eratic but some answer it perfectly lol, and its fun too lolol.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't get much Elvis radio airplay in your part of USA, Laurie.

While there's not much local radio that plays Elvis here in my part of England, but can just get London stations through (if I do a bit of fiddling across the dial!) and have on tape some ELVIS radio specials that have been on various times, very good and hosted by British Official Fan Club leader, Todd Slaughter who does seem to do his best to find rare out-takes and not so well-known songs so other people that may be listening and who like Elvis' music, get to know a wider range of his musical styles, ability and his versatility which can only be good news!

There are times and things which happen that are often enough to wonder about this, think he has tried to reach out spiritually through what Maia and Wanda have told us in past/present posts; believe that was part of his mission and he still tries to do that, best as he can. Lord, that sounds completely crazy?!, I know but then, who knows?!
