Harmony under Huna's five assumptions

Postby 73smile » Thu Jul 03, 2008 3:14 pm

It is excellent that this has been posted.
Harmony is a beautiful word to look at, to say and to practice.

With all of the busy days in June I have stumbled some when the rocks became too large on my spiritual path but I am back on the road to where the light beckons to us all. In the place that we live in during our physical body stage it is often easy to get weary and to use that as an "I am too tired to keep going........."
Then I think of the light and how Elvis singing about it being there, and I can feel the bedrock under my feet again. I never thought, when I heard the song for the first time in 1968, that I would one day write about what it has meant to me and how its singer is directing me toward the One above.
I believe that Elvis is still helping lost souls, confused souls and just not sure souls toward the light and that is part of his eternal reward in that he sees and he feels the joy when another soul is welcomed into the light by the One above. Harmony is there and it is here. It is just a little harder to see and to practice it down here in our lives that include free will.......

Thank you for shouting louder than the Con, Elvis. You changed so many, many lives for the better by singing the song.

always with love,

You are 10,000% correct here my dear angel and I guess that's why he, like he said in his Jaycess Outstanding Young Man acceptance speech, "kept singing a song!!" :D :D My heart and soul are now and always will be forever greatful to Elvis for allowing the harmony in his beautiful soul to continue to sing!! :D :D :D

singing the song

Postby 73smile » Sat Jul 05, 2008 8:58 am

You are so right about "...so I keep singing the song...." that he wrote as part of the Jaycee's speech. To think Elvis felt like he was not deserving of the award like some of the others in the room----a couple of whom went to jail under Watergate and nixon.
Elvis was by far the most humble man I have ever read, ever heard sing or act in a movie or quietly giving those in need a hand up.
I hope they had fireworks in heaven last night because certainly Elvis would want to be in charge as much as he enjoyed the fireworks they had at Graceland.
I wore one of my Elvis shirts over top of a lighter weight shirt yesterday and everyone said it was really such a good image of Elvis. I said " It is a great image, but there is a woman who has the best image of Elvis and it is her avatar on the boards of an Elvis site I am a member of" and that is yours, Maryinthemorning. When the song comes on I hit repeat for awhile as his voice is so soft and loving while singing that song.
That imgae is how I like to think Elvis really was allowed to feel sometimes and so when I see it I smile because after 73' we did not see many images of Elvis smiling---not like in your avatar!!
Always with love,
Marjorie

AMEN Marjorie my dear friend!! :D :D I also agree completely with what you said about how Elvis would want to be in charge of the fireworks in Heaven due to how much he really enjoyed them at Graceland!! :D :D
Thank you so much for your lovely compliment about my avatar dear one and please know how much it makes my heart smile to know that you like it so much and that looking at it makes you smile too!! :D :D  When I chose it a long time ago, I asked Elvis to help me choose one that would really reach into someone's heart with love and I guess that I (and he  ) chose the right one, and knowing that brings me such joy!! :D :D

A big Amen to all above! Thank you, ladies for all your loving, sincere and heartfelt words expressed so beautifully!!! :D :D

I believe with NO doubt that Elvis, since he left us, has found the answers to everything he needed, his spiritual search long since ended and he is helping lost souls and still guiding those of us who are open to him as a guide to the light! :)

The ten commandments and Jesus' words are guidance and help within the Bible and the greatest thing to know the One above, our True Father is full of unconditional Love for us all! He is Loving, Kind, Caring and all Mercy to us, His Children and that any doctrine or dogma from any religion that would anyone fear, feel unworthy of His all-encompassing Love, is to try and put a limit or condition on the Father's Love for all His Children, wherever we may be in the world! :D :D

 I just have to comment on you all saying that you hoped they had Fire Works in Heaven for Elvis, If they did I sure hope that Elvis didn't get into any Trouble like he use to with his Neighbors around GraceLand on the Fourth of July. When he would set Off FireCrackers at 3 in the Morning,Have You All ever heard the Story about when Elvis' Mama was still alive, and she had a Chicken Coop in the backyard and Elvis had a Big Pile of FireWorks, and one of his Uncles had a Little to Much of the Spirit Drink in him? He Accidently threw a Lighted Match in the FireWorks, and the Bottle Rockets Flew into Gladys Chicken Coop they said that Elvis laughed so hard he was rollin on the Ground!  I can just see him. That's our sweet mischievious boy "fer sure!!" :P  :D I had never heard this story before dear FairyTale so I thank you so much for sharing it with us!! :D I, too, can very easily picture him not only setting off fireworks at 3 in the morning, but also picture him rolling around on the ground just roaring with that precious and wonderful laughter and enjoying the humor of the situation!! :P :D I have read and heard it said that that is exactly what Elvis would do whenever he found something to be extremely funny--roll around on the ground holding his sides and just laugh his beautiful head off!! :P It's a wonder he didn't do that during that very funny version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight" that he did in '69 when he laughed himself silly too!! :P  :D

Thank you for the post that is bound to make anyone reading it smile, too.
Mari is right. His laugh was unique and he was not afraid to laugh when what he did might not have been the wisest thing to do---I wonder how many days it took for the hens to feel secure enough to begin laying eggs again?????-----and after she chewed Elvis out I bet his mama laughed, too!! :) :)

 I would have to wonder to 73mile, if the poor Hens didn't get so Scrared they Stopped Laying Eggs Permantly. I wonder just how long the Fire Works went off and how long it took for Elvis to stop Laughing? I can see Gladys now, she proabaly gave who ever threw that Match a Good Talking to. Then she proabaly had a good Luagh seeing Elvis Rolling on the Ground, I bet when you were at a Party with Elvis there anything could happen. FairyTale!
