Thank you for your kind words and your prayers. Harold is stable. I talked with him on the phone just a few minutes ago. He is in Trauma I.C.U. but the nurse took a small phone in so that we could talk.
He is exhausted and scared but he said he thinks he will be okay.
He said he had bad pain for two days and thought it was related to a surgery he had two years ago. On the 3rd day he told his wife that his chest hurt so much that it felt like a vise was being squeezed tight and that is when they went to the hospital. The Tawas hospital flew him straight away for a 25 minute helicopter trip to the large hospital where he is now.
I know that your prayers will help and I appreciate very much all of your caring words and thoughts. Thank you.
I will try to keep you updated and hopefully the worst is behind him and for the family.

My brother will, hopefully, be moved from the I.C.U. by Tuesday as he is progressing very well now.

Hello Fairytale.

That is a beautiful card and the sentiment is so very true. Harold is being released tomorrow but he will not be able to pick anything over a pound up for at least a month.
Harold told me he knew he was here because the One above was not finished with him yet and I agreed.
I believe all of the prayers and thoughts helped the One above to speed up Harold's recovery process.

It is such good news to know that your brother is recovering Marjorie. Yes, he is being given a 2nd chance. When one thinks of what happened to Tim Russert, how a heart attack killed that man on the spot, it gives perspective to those that survive heart attacks.

It most certainly does give perspective to those that survive heart attacks. Sweet Marjorie thank you so much for the update on your brother Harold and what great news that he is recovering and that he'll be released from the hospital tomorrow!!!
