I'm away on vacation next week!

Postby Rainbow Light » Thu Aug 07, 2008 6:27 am

Am away next week on vacation in delightful Dorset, staying in a hotel in Weymouth which is five minutes from the sea-front and hoping the weather is going to be at least reasonable during the time am away! :)

Though I can't get to the forum as much as I'd like to, I just wanted to let you know I'm ok, just not available from 9-15th August.

Best wishes, Sue

Hello! :hello:

I'm back and a good week, very nice and got to see some places in the county I hadn't previously. Weather a bit mixed but mostly good than not; one day warm enough to have a dip in the ocean but could've done with Elvis to wrap me up in a big bear hug when I came out of the water though! :) Arrived home Friday later than expected so decided to leave unpacking/washing till yesterday to get done so didn't get a chance to get online much, sorry!

Anyways I have returned and great to join you all back in ELC! :D :D

Thank you, dear lady! :) :P I have been watching more of the Olympics than I usually do and am just 'watching' the closing ceremony as I'm typing away here! Fantastic and most impressive not to mention I'm happy and proud my country is to be the next host of the Games in 2012! How many countries there have been participating! :D

CONGRATULATIONS, GREAT BRITAIN!

Dear Sue-Lenora,

I experienced the great energy's rush the Olympic produced in my home city Barcelona '92. The slogan was "Friends forever!" "Amigos para siempre" and the friendship wave was the biggest active for everybody that was participaating in the Games or simple living in the city.

An Olympiada is a great oportunity to renew a city, but also to renew or give birth to the citizens feeling of sharing, a human quality we seldom use anymore in great cities. It brings out positive feelings of Patience, Tolerance, Compasion, Love...

So, to have this experience so near is really good news! :P
