I have been requested to bring this to the attention of certain ELC members in relation to various posts within the forum. I do not wish to name names at this point only to make them aware!


LAWSUITS-

LIBEL: Written statements or statements attacking or defaming someone- intending to expose another to public disgrace or contempt - whether for real, or perceived cause. Or that conveys
an unfavorable or unjust impression of a person by written statements made available to the public view.

SLANDER: Words spoken rashly, that come about and disappear quickly, unless the slander
continues to make undue remarks and goes from one to another, spreading the slander or it
appears in printed form; it is then considered to be LIBEL and subject to the court as such.
