With all that's been going on I would like to revive this topic and hope that some from ELC might be interested to join.

Thank you Sue, for your propossal.

Many, many people around the world is working from differents perspectives to enhance the situation in the planet. If there was a way to interconnect all this people, the results would be incommensurable, in the sense of the strenght inherent to unity.

We already know how it is working in this website, how a circle of energy is being generated.

You are apporting your part, bringing to ELC links and information to have an idea of iniciatives around the world.

My part is to remind that we can energize an "imaginarian" web between them, to help so they may interact energetically, enlarging the field of influence each one has, transforming it into a one whole field.

How very sad for the world. Though the Bible tells us, and much of Nostradomus readings lead to the belief that WWIII will come to pass, all we can do is pray and continue to pray. War is always a sad and mismanaged way to handle indifferent matters. Though my Elvis and history website speaks about the Presley men and our ancestors who served in those wars, and who continue to serve, we must remember that it is not the wars that we glorify, but the men who fought and sacrificed so that we might live free. Governments hold the key to world destruction, not our troops. We must pray for them, and let them know that the freedom we have all enjoyed here is because of them.

The world would be a better place without war, but doesn't look as though it will ever happen here and now. Our Presley ancestors, like so many of your own and those of many Americans, were true patriots, and many did not want to participate in war. Nontheless, local governments threatened death if there services were not carried out. The choice whether to die a coward or while serving your country has weighed heavily on the minds of many a good and noble man.

May God help our world, and may there be peace one day soon.

Thank you, Sue.

God Bless.

AMEN!

Nice to have you again with us, Barbara Lee.

I would like to add: Due the way God made me, I could not stand myself if I took a passive attitude in front of the world's troubles. I feel like must of us in ELC share this. We like to take a step in front. That's why we are participating here: because we don't like to be save, closed and silent. You took the iniciative to organize the museum, with a positive intention. Each one of us dares to take a step, any size of step, according to her/his condition.

So, we have the force to dare. I feel it so good. Maybe a next step could be to ask ourselves: How can I better what I do? Is there anything else I would like to do, to be a direct expression of my dreams, my heart or whatever?

I truly believe that Life needs everyone of us in full expression. It's only a matter of trainning, daring and letting fears aside.

Again, Elvis was a good example of what I'm trying to say.

Amanda, you express what I feel in my heart!

"We have the force to dare

Let us start in our family unit and then, as our strenght grows, expand our positive influence more and more.
With love in our hearts we accomplish the most wonderful things.

Every step is hard work, this I feel in my own life, but as we look back, it was all worth the trouble to work against negative forces. :x

Prayers, peace and meditation

Postby Rainbow Light » Mon Sep 18, 2006 7:27 am

Have chosen to bring Christine's post through from Chapel of Love section as it relates to and is appropriate for this thread and resonates with the idea relating to healing:

What we do in spirit or praying for others is much as important as doing "outer" good deeds.
The saints who really commune with God accomplish much more positive changes in the world by their mere energetic presence than any other person may accomplish in outer activities.

So meditation and praying for others is work of a very high value, and even if we have struggles to meditate, as some of our ELC members mentioned, we should keep on trying and just do our best....every day.
El'vis himself asked us to do so, so let's keep on keeping on!!
