I want to add something else here. After the sorrowful time ended, I began to get this impartation in my spirit that love is what really matters. And then a biblical scripture: "faith, hope, & love and the greatest of these is love" kept playing over & over in my mind.
I wasn't trying to think of it either. It just kept coming, so I couldn't help but meditate on it, even while walking down the street! It was so strong.

Then it came to me, if love is the greatest, how can I condemn somebody who say believes differently but has love in their heart? It was then that I stopped believing that someone would go to hell just because they had a different faith.
Oddly enough, my own faith grew even stronger because I saw how much greater God's love is.

LAURIE I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT RELIGION OR CHURCH WELL NOT GET YOU TO HEAVEN, ITS BELIEVING IN THE LORD. LOVING YOUR FELLOW MAN EVEN THOUGH HE MIGHT HATE YOU, AND HAVING FAITH AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED. WHEN JESUS WALKED THIS EARTH HE ATE AND SLEEPED WITH SINNERS, BECAUSE HE KNEW THE ONES THAT THOUGHT RELIGION WAS ALL THEY NEEDED TO GET TO HEAVEN WERE SELF RIGHTOUS. EVEN ELVIS WHEN ALL OF HIS SO CALLED FREINDS, WERE SAYING LIES ABOUT HIM HE STILL FORGAVE THEM. SO LAURIE ALL OF WHAT YOU SAID IS HOW EACH OF US SHOULD BE, FairyTale!!

WITHOUT A SONG THE DAY WOULD NEVER END, WITHOUT A SONG A MAN AIN'T GOT A FREIND, WITHOUT A SONG. SO I KEEP ON SINGING A SONG.

Just beautiful, Laurie! And touching too.

I feel that you expresses so well who you are, so tender, sensitive, pure and loving... :)

Bless you Barb & Amanda for your support & kind words. I was a little worried that I might offend someone. Hope I haven't. Not my intention anyway.

Speaking for also, also, no way have you upset or offended people. On the contrary, you've shown so many of us the goodness and kindness you have in your spirit, Laurie and it means so much to have you share your experiences with us here! Thanks again!!

God bless!

There is a time under heaven for both sorrow and joy in our spirits and after that time you had to go through, Laurie - the sorrow you had to bear, you were reminded of something far more precious; God's Love, Complete, All-Encompassing and Never-Ending - for all His Children in all places across the globe!

Love & Light, Sue

I read a most marvelous article someone sent me, and got permission to reprint it on my blog. I wish to share it with you all here:

Maia, it's just wonderful!

To learn about the direct experience of Dr. Len gives us a precious guide for accomplishing something that, even familiar to some of us, could seem rather difficult to put into practice.

The conclussion is again the same: Love is what it's all about.

Thank you, Maia.

Sue, it was a very important thread, I believe. I read it again and yet it's a new lecture, because we are changing everyday and each reading echoes differently in our heart.

Thank you, my friend! :P

IT IS LIKE WHEN I HEAR A CERTAIN SONG ELVIS IS SINGING, I START TO FEEL IN MY HEART, MIND, AND BODY FIRST A SADNESS THEN PAIN, THEN COMPASSION. IT IS LIKE I'M FEELING THESE EMOTIONS BECAUSE THAT IS THE EMOTIONS ELVIS WENT THROUGH, FIRST SADNESS BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE HE TRUSTED AND LOVED DIDN'T UNDERSTAND HIM, THEN THE PAIN EITHER OR BOTH PHYSICAL, AND SIRITUALLLY. BUT THEN AS HE READ IN HIS BIBLE ABOUT ALL THAT KING DAVID AND JESUS WENT THROUGH, ELVIS STILL HAD COMPASSION, LOVE, AND FORGIVENESS

Yes, would relate to and understand this too. Elvis had so much compassion for others, it shines through in his nature and a special part of who he was!
