Drawing from 68 Special

Postby Rainbow Light » Fri Jul 21, 2006 9:44 am

Hi Zey!

Are you ok with me using the drawing from the 68 Special as my desktop image? Just wanted to check first if ok with you?

Please advise?

Thanks!

art work

Postby Wanda June Hill » Fri Jul 21, 2006 3:30 pm

Zey, those are really good-I don't know how you manage to capture so much of him in black and white!
Amazing. I like the one that shows so much of his hair and you've made it glow like it's alive! Amazing! I am thinking of maybe using one on Face To Face book cover-what would you all think of that? And Zey I would pay you for the use of it as well, and maybe there would be people who would like to buy poster copies of your work and you could sell them -keeping of course the rights for what they might be used for or in. That's a given-wouldn't want them in some stanley book! etc;.
A thought, something to think about. I love your drawings, charcoal is so difficult to do and I tried doing it with horses-I could at one time do good horses but I've lost my talent in that my hands don't hold things as well as they used to do but I couldn't do good charcoal-I always smeared things too much. I wish I had half your talent zey! Wjh

OH MY GOSH!!! Lighthouseseeker (your name must be Zey?) those drawings are absolutely breathtaking. I would gladly pay you for a poster sized copy to frame. It would go perfectly in my Elvis room which, by the way, is hot pink, black and white. Even if that's never able to happen, you are such a talented artist and you captured Elvis' spirit in your work. Good work!!!

Lighthouseseeker...How big are these drawings? I would like to frame one for my Elvis room. My printer is not so great. If you could send me one (depending on what size they are), I would gladly pay for postage and a little extra for you. I would really want one at least 11x16; just a nice size to frame. But I'm not sure how big they are to start with. You are so generous. Let me know something. Thank you!!!!

I've said it before Zey, but after looking at these truly beautiful drawings it's definitely worth saying again  --God has truly blessed you with such an incredible talent and these drawings are absolutely amazing!!! :D :D You never fail to capture Elvis's spirit in your drawings!! :D I agree with you also Julie about how Elvis would be proud of these pictures. :D I too would love to be able to have a poster copy of one of these incredible drawings to frame it and would be willing to pay whatever price you wanted to charge and also pay any shipping charges also. :D Actually, if it's possible I'd love to be able to get 2 of them because my friend's mom is a HUGE Elvis fan and she would absolutely LOVE it for an early Christmas gift!! :P :D Please just let me know if this is possible. :) Also, Wanda I think it would be a great idea to use one of these beautiful drawings for the cover of Face 2 Face. :D Sue-Lenora, thanks so much for bringing this topic back around again. :D
