On the Spirit Mythos Forums on a thread about people and their powerful energy fields wreaaking havoc, I posted:
Elvis had those problems.
They had to keep alot of extra micorphones stageside and he would simply blow them out...not singing too loud, just holding them. He was not able to use the "new" cordless ones at all. The minute he touched them they usually died!
He was always getting SHOCKED with mikes, electric guitars, etc. But then he could also STOP it from raining and move objects across a table without touching them. _________________

Reminds of the scene in TTWII dvd in which Elvis is shocked by a microphone and jumps back in reaction to it! _________________ Laurie

Many of the musicians working with him say that, even his voice, could not be fully recordable as it was. That it was much more beautiful in person.
The same with his beauty, presence, charism, energy, etc. It looks like Elvis was "unconteinable", "unreducible" and "unframeable".
Lucky we, that can sense him fully by heart!!! _________________ Amanda Viola

I've said this before, but in going to 37 different Elvis concerts from 1969 through 1975, there were many times when his voice simply went SUPERNATURAL...no other way to discribe it. People could not believe what they heard or felt. Sean Shaver has commented on this as well.
It was never, to my knowledge, professionally recorded. I have a few boots with just a bit of it, but the recording is so bad, you get only a glimpse of what it was really like. _________________

| I liked this one also, but yesterday's with the big floppy yellow hat on is the one I mentioned. He looks so young in it and it was 76-that's a bicenential suit and he wore the heck out of those 4 suits-BUT he had two colors! don't forget that. If he said it once it had to have been at least a dozen times! Anyway, he still had that baby look at that time...tired as he was, he retained it. wjh |

I HAVE NOTICE AND I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME BUT IT SEEMS TO ME WHEN ELVIS WAS OVER TIRED IN SOME PICTURES HIS EYES TO ME WERE SO MUCH SMALLER. LIKE IN THIS ONE! HE IS SO ADORABLE IN THIS ONE! _________________ WITHOUT A SONG THE DAY WOULD NEVER END, WITHOUT A SONG A MAN AIN'T GOT A FREIND, WITHOUT A SONG. SO I KEEP ON SINGING A SONG.
