Yes, good to see these early photo's again... and to see Kenya's beautiful face too! I love your hair! Such lovely, loving eyes you have. I like that picture of him with the cap on sitting on the curb too. He never smiled much in those early pictures...I don't think I've seen more than one or maybe two where he actually was smiling...so serious, or perhaps he didn't want his chipped tooth to show? He said he chipped off one of the front ones, upper and didn't have the $ to get it fixed until he had his first recording out...and "they" got his teeth capped...I don't know for certain who "they" were but it might have been Sam Phillips ??? After all, "they'd" want him looking his best and that smile sure was important to his popularity as well as that pout and snarling lip - huh? My favorite one is the one at the Eagle's nest leaning on the wall. He's lost in thought certainly... maybe having one of those "dreams" he spoke about...the future...making plans and hoping.
