Sweet Aloha MSue :D

I also welcome you and thank you for your story....so touching... and straight from the heart...
I´m new here too and I´m glad to tell you that you´re at the right place here at ELC...
So much LOVE and UNDERSTANDING..... and a beginning of a very special relationship.... Elvis guides us.... teaches us....

And I have to say that my path wasn´t easy at all.... you have to deal with a lot of feeling to open your heart and soul ... Do it YOUR way with the help of the Lord, Jesus and Elvis... Let het Holy Spirit reach you...
I did it my way and I can tell you.... I´ve never felt so much LOVE in my life....

I now know that everything has its reasons.... Nothing is a Coincidence...
It has to be!!!!

Write about your feeling & experiences to ELC.... WRITING about your feelings is sooo important.... you will be stronger and stronger everyday.... if you just let him help you... or guide you...

And the song "IF I CAN DREAM" is very special for me too...... because this song was my favorite.... and also as your brother I begun my spiritual struggle.... But now I can dream.... and working on the "BUILDING" so to speak...

Again Love to have you here MSue

I want to thank all of you for making me feel so very welcome here. It is good for the soul to be able to express one's deepest thoughts with others who understand what I am trying to say. I am so happy that someone recommended that I look at this site. When I looked and did a bit of reading I felt that this place was the right place to continue my spiritual search.
We all share a love for Elvis Presley. We are all, too, on a spiritual path that will be tough somedays and easier on still other days.
The spirit being free is what helps me to get through tough times. When family members or friends physical bodies can no longer go even one more step, I know that at last their spirits are free and in a better place than here on terra firma.
I am happier because began this forum is here so that individuals like us may write about discoveries we make, connections that finally come together and love that will last for eternity.
Human men and women have many frailities. We try to do our best, though, to work through times of struggling.
Our daughter teaches and our son is a social worker and it makes my heart to feel good knowing that they are giving something back to the communities in which they live.
To me that is what Elvis tried hard to do. His methods did not always work but his reasoning was right and that he did travel a hard, hard path makes me feel humble and yet fierce pride for him because he reached very far down to find enough courage to TRY to seek the answers to his questions. He was emotionally and physically spent and yet he kept going until he could go no longer.
Having the sure knowledge that he is free now helps to encourage me to keep trying. Always trying.
LOL and thank you again for your welcoming me here. I feel like I really am home and it is secure and loving.
I will try to ask and to seek answers about where I am supposed to be at a certain point in my travels as I build, step by step the path I must take.

Sweet Aloha MSue :D

You´re such a lovely person..... also you are so right what you´re saying... and that you´re so proud of your kids.... LOVE to hear that...
You did a very very good JOB.... :D You gave a lot of LOVE...

In my point of view, when Elvis had found a woman.... who was on one level with him.... also spirituel..... He would be the happiest man on Earth... But it had to be this way... We had to learn... Through Elvis my husband and I met, for sure :D ...... and we learned... learned a lot.... and experienced a lot of feelings..... within 3 years we learned what the meaning of life was..... I let the Holy Spirit in... that´s the way I feel it... It wasn´t easy at all.... BUT NEVER WOULD MISSED IT.... LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF MY LIVE NOW.... and everyday you will learn.. Life is one big LESSON...

My husband Gert & I became one.... and also spiriuel.... and that´s a real advantage what we have, I have to admitt.... We sing a lot, also my 3 children... a lot of Elvis gospels songs... and that brings you very close to the Lord.... and Elvis ofcourse  also my princesses (11, 6, 4).... are real Elvis friends...They learn very quickly, because they already know what love is... and that´s a real big big advantage.... The oldest one, Jasminka wants to be a teacher.... Manja (6) wants to be the best horse-rider in the world and a pilot ... The youngest one, Carmen (4) is "real" performer... and want to experience everything... always tries everything... and all three are riding horse with passion... they talked with the horses and give them a very special feeling... you can see that
Last time I asked Carmen what would she wishes for herself....
Her answer was: a KISS from ELVIS.....

Everything will gonna be allright....

I´m only 36 years and NOW I really can live MY life with my family... and I´m enyoing my spirituel path.... Here at ELC they will help you in any way they can.... so that´s one BIG advantage we all have.... He brought us together... And I thank him for that....

I´m sorry for my writing, because I always write what I´m feeling.... so sometimes my writing is a little bit mixed up....

"Welcome to my World" MSue..... and YES... the LOVE will last for eternity...

Thank you for posting this again

I feel I have grown in many ways since I first wrote about anything here on ELC.
I have never wavered in my belief that Elvis was just on loan to us and when his job was really done then the One above took him home for his reward. Elvis touches my heart in one way or another each day whether I am home, I am on ELC, I am out and about with my zipper bag that has Elvis all over it that I use for my camera bag. When another comments on the bag I talk about Elvis and his hopes and dreams and how he was ever so much more than a boy/man who sang " Heartbreak Hotel" or another of his early works. In our sharing our feelings and our beliefs we are doing what both Elvis and the One above are directing us to do.
I am going to post something new under Spiritual Path so if you have a minute read it.
Love. Always love,
Marjorie

:D If it were not for people like all here at ELC my life might be quite different. I try to let go, when I am able to, any negatives and focus on the spirit that guides each of us here in such a poitive way. I love each of you and I know at some point or in a way we do not know of yet that we will meet. Until then our little family solidifies in its support, its generosity and in its love here at ELC. Alway with love,
Marjorie

that smile

Postby 73smile » Sun May 11, 2008 4:17 pm

Hello and thank you.

I look at his smile above your name and it makes me feel so good to know he experienced joy, laughter, happiness--and then he gave it all back out to those who loved him all over the globe. It was a constant exchange that continues to this second. I do not know a soul who can see that smile and not instantly know that when his or her time is here and we get to go home, that the One above will be there to love, to laugh and to share the spiritual beauty of where we began with us all.
Our daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband were up and we went out for a late lunch.
On this Mom's day we talked, we laughed and we were thankful to have this, another day together.
Walter marched into graduation and afterward turned in his keys and now he will adjust to NEVER having to give another lecture!!
He loved teaching as much as I did and in one way or another we all teach each other---all of us, each day, teach what is important to another or even to ourself and what needs to be taken away on the soft spring breeze.
Elvis taught us to accept joy, to love life and also what unconditional love is supposed to be like.
The One above chose carefully what HE knew the people of earth needed and Elvis and that smile gave his all to us as HE designed it.
Just think if all the people in this world could smile like Elvis.....it would be paradise right here.
Just seeing his smile today has made me feel GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always with love,
Marjorie

Dear Walter, but if he ever wanted to, I'll bet there are lots of places who would love to have a guest lecturer give a talk, etc:...clubs, societies, businesses, colleges, high schools, just you name it! They are every where and all looking for an interesting guest speaker-and some of them PAY too... so options are open... He doesn't have to stay at home and become a "couch potato" all the time, totally up to what he feels, ya know. Jimmie hated retirement because he "ran out" of interesting things to do around here-the horses become a drag having to be up and etc: at a certain time in the am...though it's not nailed to the wall time, it has to be fairly soon or they began to be restless and think up things to get our attention. And they DO. Anyway, congratulations and just one day at a time, that's the best way to work it out. And having something to do elsewhere now and then...not always togetherness either... that can get old fast if one doesn't develope outside interests along the way now and then. I hole up in my "office" and he watches lots of television when he can't be doing something elsewhere...other wise we get along in our separate but together ways. "We've" been retired for going on 5 years and I haven't killed him yet- or vise versa...but we do have our space and that's a given...we all need our "space".
Adjustment takes some time, it's not just a few wwks either-it hits sometimes a year or so later...everything changes over time...even working one's experience that fact. Relax and don't worry, every thing will even out and the "groove" will become "normal" and comfortable.
I think it's harder for the wife as we have to be the "balancer" so much.
But we're born tough...we can do it. wjh
