i remember reading on here that elvis i think but dont quote me lol
he may have mentioned a past life in which he might have been a king or something, please put me right as im not sure, but he may have mentioned he may have been in uk buried in a abbey with a wife , that to me sounds like king arthur , i read it sometime back but try as i might i cant find the refernce to it now.
but do you think if you know what im refering to as i dont, that he could have been king arthur maybe of glastonbury

do any of you know the piece im refering to as i cant find it, ive been watching the tudors recently and king henry the eighth always reminds me of arthur and his knights .

please will someone enlighten me before i go crackers lolol :D

for some reason i usually find myself searching for things , knowledge and such or led to particular books without knowing why, it just captures my interest all off a sudden , is their rhyme or reason to what we find ourselves seeking i wonder .

a lot of things seem connected somehow, do you ever think that .
i love arthurian things and things of that nature always have , i find it magical , did elvis ever delve into king arthurs stories did he have an interest in it himself i dont think ive ever asked or may have.

do you ever wonder why we suddenly look for certain books or things, does any of this make sense please lol, is there a reason for some things

luv ju

Hi Julie! Good to see you back with us, welcome back, dear friend! :) :P I believe there's a reason for some things for sure and there's, as Elvis would say, 'no such thing as coincidence'! So in all probability you were led to the book you mentioned for a reason!

With respect to your mentioning about Elvis relating to having been a king in his past life; please find a link on ELC website regarding a letter Elvis wrote to an 'Alice' and 'Roy' in early 70's in with a past life where he'd been an Egyptian king/pharoah:

http://www.elvislightedcandle.org/signsymbwonders/mystical.html

I have not, in all honesty, heard before the connection to King Arthur but, as this is something I have great interest for also (have you been watching 'Merlin' on BBC1 the last few weeks, very well done I think?) I find your post above most fascinating and thanks for bringing the subject up with us! Perhaps someone else on ELC will be able to help you with more information maybe? watch this space..... !

take care & best wishes, Sue

This movie is so cool!, 16 November 2005

I am very surprised to notice that this movie doesn't have even one comment here in IMDb! It's such a pity that it is not popular, because I think many people would enjoy to watch it. The plot is very creative (at least I never watched a movie with the same plot)and interesting: Hank, a 17 year old boy, is very shy with the girls and loves to play guitar. One day, he knock his head and and wakes up in the medieval England, having problems with the locals, until lady Alisande takes him as her prisoner to offer to King Arthur. There,he tries to warn people that he is from XX century, but nobody believes him, condemning him to death. Using his technology and knowledge by his favor,Hank has success in save himself ('blocking the sun with the help of Elvis '--> actually he knows everyday which days had an eclipse in the past .*great part*) Safe, he starts to be friends with many people of the court( including the King)but specially with lady Alisande. The problem is Galahad, who is Alisande's future husband, who is jealous and practically force Hank to have a duel with him; at the same time, Hank tries to go back to XX century.

I highly suspect this is NOT what Julie is referring to but anyways, thought this might prove to be one link to King Arthur although somewhat indirect!
