A strange experience of a coincidence?

A weird thing happened tonight. I was watching a documentary about people affected with a terrible illness called primordial dwarfism. Only about 100 people worldwide have this strange ailment. They are extremely small. This documentary told the story of a 43-year old lady who has this afwel illness. She's the oldest living person who has this illness. She's 70cm and her weight is 15kg.

Anyway, while I was watching this I thought about how Elvis would be touched by this documentary if he had seen it. I was thinking that if he would have seen it he would have wanted to help these unfortunate people.

Just a few moments after I had this thought the documentary showed the livingroom of this lady with primordial dwarfism. And guess whose photos she put on her wall? There were no less than 4 large photos of Elvis on her wall.

So in fact, just as I thought, Elvis is helping her.

You must have been picking up on something synchronous! Elvis cared so much about people less fortunate than himself, so it's not suprising that afflicted people like this woman would relate & look up to him. They know he would not look down up them but just love them.

IT IS INDEED NO COINCIDENCE AND NO SURPRISE THAT THIS LADY WOULD HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY ELVIS' SPIRIT IN HER LIFE, SHE KNEW AND UNDERSTOOD NO DOUBT THAT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY HER CONDITION AND WOULD HAVE DONE EVERYTHING HE COULD TO HELP THIS LADY.

SEEMS THAT YOU WERE 'MEANT' TO WATCH THIS, AND THANKS FOR SHARING THIS BEAUTIFUL STORY WITH US! :D

That special something!

Cannot be a coincidence that so many people reacted and responded to Elvis; there was something special and an Inner Light that reached into people's hearts and souls.

These self-same souls were from all walks of life; irrespective of nationality; color; belief system and many other factors and were truly touched by this man and how he could make them feel, not just by his beautiful voice but by how we was and remains in our hearts and memories.

I agree with you, Sue!

I'm sure that it is not coincidence. The time, the place and the persons must be right for a "positive situation" be produced. Something is set out now, for the coming future. I think that is good to be aware of it, so we can consciently help it to develope. 8) :)

Yes, absolutely true! :D I sent on the Soul of Elvis presentation to a friend of mine, Fran, from another board as she had been feeling a little down. She thought is was really beautiful and helped capture the true spirit of Elvis which I feel is correct.

Left Fran with the details for ELC website/forum so hopefully she might want to visit now and again but will leave that with her.

Incidentally, don't know if anyone is familiar with ElvisFind.com? It is a site where you can check out all Elvis related sites and vote for them too, we are mentioned also so you may want to check this out and vote for us, add comments etc. Will try to track the proper link and get it for you tomorrow ok?

The following is a quote attributed to Elvis from Jess Stearn/Larry Geller's book, "Elvis' Search for God":

I'd like to think of myself as a bridge for the troubled and the afflicted, the sick and the poor, to cross over in the light and leave behind their troubles and cares.

Thank you, Laurie, for bringning it back to us.

Elvis is such an inspiration to us... He comes to our hearts and enlight in them the LOVE we are all made of.

I pray to be able to keep that Light shinning on. The time we are living is one of hardness and cruelty in many ways, and we need as much softness and tenderness as we may gather and apport back.

Thank you so much, Laurie, for bringing us this beautiful quote and oh very typical this is of our Elvis, his ability to bring and share Love, truly remains such a great inspiration by his example!
