That's true FairyTale, we were all that way, maybe some not so obvious but afterward, when we saw the pictures that were taken, we saw things we hadn't even realized in those pictures, such as how he looked, felt etc: and yet when he was on that stage, we didn't notice anything but it's ELVIS! And he always looked fantastic walking out...he could turn that on boy, and yet he would be nervous and even shy but when he walked out-no matter which direction he came from, it was the same-he looked like a "god" for sure. And in Vegas when he came out-always from the right side looking at the stage from the audience-he walked out and was 9 feet tall and glowing even wearing black! He looked like a glorius doll or something that had just been made and was brand new every time. Every hair in place, spotless, perfect in every way...it was amazing to say the least.
Even from the stage edge and we had to look up to see him then, he still looked great...and close up, well, what can one say about that-perfect I guess is the word. He always had nice breath too...don't know how he managed that either...maybe there was something in the water he drank that kept that under control??? One time he had sipped a martini someone offered him and though he didn't make a face I thought he was going to...he thanked them instead and didn't sip again! But right after that he was pretty close and blew air at me...when I wouldn't stand up to try to reach him...and he had nice breath! That was the night he wiped sweat off with one lady's napkin then handed it to me with a look that said take it damn it-I did, and handed him mine and he wiped again and gave her my napkin. I still have "her" napkin in my safe and it has his sweat stains on it and that night upstairs he autographed it for me.
It's pale pink. I'll e-mail you a picture of it now that I just made some-maybe you can put it on ELC somewhere?
If you think they'd like to see it. The scarf I'll send it too
It's a beautiful emerald green-he gave one away, saw me then went to get another, Charlie handed him a white one, he said not that one, the green one and so he brought it over and teased me with it of course. He knew my birthstone was emerald and I liked green...what a guy! wjh
