It's there, jumping and changing away! Those things are so cute-especially those Maia has been using now and then-and I've tried to get some others, but dummy me can't figure them out-I barely learned how to use these right here! wjh Starla read through the book, she liked it, said there sure is a lot of Elvis in there- I kind of think in her eyes I "pushed the line" putting some personal things in it-but I think it needs to be there-and he said it-I just printed it. There isn't all that much...

Can't wait to read the book and be able to comment it. I understand that maybe Starla considers you went through some frontier there, because I think that she is very "private" about Elvis. But you are the one with the "key" and what you feel, well, it's it!

About the smilies, until now I did not dare to try to bring in some from outside. But it is not so difficult. Tomorrow, in some moment, I'll try to explain you how to do that, step by step, the ABC so to say, in a pm for you. I can tell you that it's easier than I thought.

In one way I can understand where Starla is coming from yet with all that has been brought out about Elvis, maybe, just maybe it's time to let others have the chance to learn more about this man. It's a risk to let some personal details out I guess but yet at the same time it is your call and I know that you wouldn't have released the information without giving this full consideration first, know you think too much of our boy and will defend him to the utmost whenever you've needed to, to have done anything else!

Shipping the fastest way will be $11.00 US money...it's high but will arrrive safely and faster than 4 to 6 weeks.
Please go to Maia's affilate to order straight from Amazon and order from my post box to get an autographed one with a number so they'll be e-bay "bait" in a few years. I will have some here and will sign them accordingly as people request, ship them fast as I did in 78-80. I hate waiting 4 to 6 weeks for anything! I'm not sure the exact price of the book-will find out on Monday as it will go on Amazon.com that day...as far as I know. they said automaticly it would be put on there. I think they'll have one of those things where you can go in and read a page or so, but don't know about that either. It was mentioned though. wjh

It is indeed a great conversation and thanks for bringing it back around again Sue!

Bless you Wanda, you and the other REAL and TRUE friends that Elvis had that helped him to have more of the "normal" life that he wanted so badly.

Bless you and everyone else who was a true enough friend to him to be honest with him about certain things even when you knew he didn't want to hear it!!

It shows strength of character on both sides of the friendship--yours for being honest with him and his for taking it in his stride(even if he did pout about it once in a while :wink:
