This is what I know about this person. His name was Psammetik-seneb. Psammetik was the name of the ruling pharao. It was commen practise to take on the name of the ruling king. Seneb is the ancient Egyptian word for health. He was 'chief of physicians'. In other words an important doctor. This type of statues was offered by the giver, who is represented himself, to the temple. In order to be able to give such a gift the giver must have been wealthy and important. Most important persons held some kind of function as a priest in a temple. So it is possible that Psammetik-seneb was also a priest. This statue is dedicated to te goddess Neith. Neith was an important goddess. Primeraly she was a goddess of hunt and war. One of her names was 'mother of the gods'. She was worshipped at Sais during the 26th dynasty. This statue dates from that period. The modern name of Sais is Sa el Hagar. The ancient Egyptian name is Zau. Sais is Greek. Neith was represented with the red crown of lower Egypt (Delta). She usually holds a bow and crossed arrows. You can see the crossed arrows on the block that Psammetik offered to the temple. Neith was also regarded as the mother of Sobek, Isis, Horus and Osiris. Sometimes she is regarded as the mother of Ra. She was the wife of Chnum. You have to understand that the relationship between gods varied in different times. Together with Isis, Selket and Nephtys she protects the canopic jars.
The statue is 63com high. It is at the Museo Gregoriano Egizio at the Vatican.

In an on-going PM discussion with renenutet, I received from El'vis / Rhama Azul that he had been a healer in Sais. As a result, renenutet came up with this amazing likeness!

I went back to El'vis / Rhama Azul to enquire if indeed, he was Psammetik-seneb and I received an affirmative. I will add this to the info link I have on Spirit Mythos attached to the Rhama Azul art in our store and now to the sessions page:

http://www.spiritmythos.org/infopages/rhama_azul.htm

Maybe I'll put something on it in the ELC website as well. Thanks for finding this, renenutet!

I googled Psammetik-seneb, but could find no more info on him. If anyone does, please post on this thread! Thanks.

oh my gosh. Is it just me or does that look like Elvis Himselvis?????? I think someone may have alluded to the fact that the face looked familiar. Wow. That's a trip! It only validates what we all know about his connection to Egypt.
