I guess travelling with the boat accross the Pacific is VERY expensive.

All cruisers are floating palaces and that must be paid.

Flying is the fastest and cheapest solution Julie.

Altough I have to admit I also don't like to fly.

Only flew two times and that was to visit Memphis.

I had a depression also because of my extreme fear of flying and being there I was feeling bad all the time only thinking I had once again to board a plane to return :roll:

My husband told me he will never go on a distant vacation with me again :oops:

Nowadays we stick to our car and go to the seaside which is only one and a half hour driving from our home. :lol:

Know it's the 'job' of the media to report everything bad that happens in the world and not saying things don't happen, they do but considering the thousands of planes that fly across the world everyday, it's just the news that brings those that do in such hard-hitting force to our attention.

Listen to them all the time and you'd never get to go anywhere!

I know how you feel Nadine...I have a fear of flying as well! Yet I chose to move to the middle of the pacific ocean!!

Heck, just flying from one island to the other gets to me.

And these are SHORT flights on Aloha Airlines. It is funny, because from Kauai to Oahu the plan JUST levels off and IMMEDIATLY starts descending again!. They serve little cups of punch and sacks of nuts while the plane is still ascending, so passengers are trying to hold on to everything! (me, I'm just trying to hold on to my stomach!)
