hows the new book coming , i told the lady about it and that you want to print my poem in it, she said when can i get one, so was wondering how you was doing with it these days.
im going to show em the other book too, will try and make a point of holding your book if i can when they take picture if it happens

Hi Julie, I have been slowed down considerable with the computer problems and then having my eye messed up for 5 weeks, couldn't read or use the computer much at all and now I have a cataract in that eye that makes it hard to read and waters down my face the whole time.
I get new glasses next week and that is supposed to calm down the cataract so I'm hopeful. I have the book 3/4's ready to be edited/properly placed together and checked for mistakes etc: and have only the poems and added tributes to put in and that comes between the conversation section which is just about done. I had to quit for a while to rest my eye and get it well and then the computer is acting up-I put everything on cd to save it incase of a snafu there. I hate to part with the computer and it will be about 2 weeks without-that is awful for me...I'm so nosy, I guess. Anyway, I hope to have it ready to go to the publisher before October so it can be released early next year. I have some professional help with the layout etc: of this one promised so it ought to be a beautiful book, properly done and Zey's pictures are going to be on the cover and in side as well. I think this book will be a light cream white with zey's art work in charcoal and it will be beautiful. We shall see...I liked the first cover-it's spiritual and it gets attention which was the name of the game...the next one is going to be beautiful as well, and very spiritual and loving in many ways. It will ice the cake.
I would love to have a big slice of white cake with lemon filling and some ice cream! But that's just a dream-can't have such a thing...however the new book will be like that-only it can be realized! You will do Elvis proud Julie!
Remember, he'll be standing by, hands together at his waist, smiling and noding approval. Listen-he might give you ideas...if so..do them. wjh

It's a great idea to use Zey's drawings!!!!!!! It will be definitely a beautiful book as you described it, Wanda!!!!

well it could be either today or tomorrow , yes it will have some comment about me in the mag , i so hope i dont get tongue tied , i wanna do this foe elvis , and to show the world im not scared of showing im a elvis fan lol.
sorry to hear of your troubles wanda hope they improve for you , you sure are battling to do this book, a real labour of love, will look forard to the book , im sure it will be heavenly as the other was .
your my fave author of elvis material wanda for now and ever .

hope i do elvis proud , my mum reckons i will get paid for the photo shoot , wonder if its still on , better get on incase they phone me today or tomorrow, wonder if elvis has confidence in me , funny how i found by accident , then just phoned up , not like me atall lol
im nervous but sort of ready , after all it will be seen by lots of older ladies in england .

im thinking about the task of bringing my collection of elvis downstairs ooher , quite a few trips up and down stairs .

as for the calendar , i can make a simple calendar on my pc as a calendar template is in it on one of the things in there .
would need a photo of everyone tho , maybe i could do it , but it would take quite a bit of ink .
got plenty of elvis pics , i love those elvis spiritual quotes on here maia , maybe our birthdays each person would go in it in order of their birthday month , then a quote from elvis at top and his picture maybe .
sure it would be fun to do , and not forgetting the member pic too.

might work would have to look into it , what would be title would have to work out what title , i guess it be just for us all , or a commercially printed one you mean laurie .

Absolutely, agree 100% too!

Elvis sure has every right to have confidence in you and will, as Wanda says, be standing by hands at his waist, smiling and nodding in approval! Wish you all the very best for the photo shoot, sounds fantastic!

The calendar is a great project idea and please feel free to let us know whatever you need!

thanks wanda and sue , ive just heard today it will be wednesday and the photrographer is called terry .
the lady phoned me today , think we will have to work out something sue about the calendar , how many calendars were you all thinking of, if its not too many i think im alright on paper .
would it be 12 seperate monthly ones to make one calendar or all 12 on on page .
how many would that be , it be only the ink id need i suppose , i get mine for about under 30 pounds , yep ouch , might be a bit too pricey , wonder how much a company would charge to make em , would be worth me looking maybe , if too dear just 1 page ones maybe lol

Sounds great Wanda - Zey's drawings will be a wonderfull addition!

I was disapointed that the image on the new WRE was distorted, so that it looked really wierd. Notice the difference between your avatar version and the cover of the book! This is true of your photo on the back of the book as well. Doesn't really matter - the book ITSELF is the GEM!!

Just hoping that this won't happen with the next one! :shock:

I know they tweaked my picture on the back but it made the white print read easier so I compromised for that. And this time, there will be no border inclosing the art work Zey has done! I want it to dominate the cover-with just a creamy white edge around it to bring out the art work and then the back will be the same creamy white- with black printing! And I will design the cover and it will have the title and everything the way I say because I'll pay extra to get it! The first time I didn't have that right due to the money factor but this time I'll be ready for that little problem! Once I have my foot in the door as I do, I get a break on the price and the extra savings will go on the cover and art work. Good enough.

hi gals , im getting really nervous , it seems the photographer is ian i think he is a fan as he says he cant wait to see my collection .
its 10.30 tomorrow am , ooher i hope i can do this , please pray that my brain dont leave and leave my mouth in charge .
please be with me elvis , im hoping what i say helps him in some way .
and they bringiong hair and makeup people ooher , oh lordy what have i let myself in for lol

, oh well what will be will be , will do my best , little wool E it seems will be centre stage so he is getting his debut in a way lol
i dont wear makeup atall so that will be interesting , when it comes out will photograph it to show you , hope its flattering im not photogenic .
wish me luck will definitely mention the Elc, sensitively .

I had trouble with the phone and Internet line for two days, but now I got in just in time to wish you the best, Julie.

You'll do just perfectly and will have a lot of loving company with you!

Love your idea of having Zey-Zia's drawings in "Face to Face", Wanda. There are many beautiful pics of Elvis, yet the love and soul Zey's drawings have are not easy to be found and will bring many positive vibrations to the book too, in attunement with the love and soul you put writing it!
