With learning so much of Elvis, his medical conditions and so much bravery and pure, sheer courage he showed, he gave forth the light of his soul, his spirit out to his audience. He had many spiritual interests, read many books and had great faith from his childhood to his death in the Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that He would never fail him.

Whatever else happened in his life, Elvis had the Love, the Light of the Lord Jesus and wanted, still wants from a higher perspective and vantage point!, to convey the Love of the Lord Jesus to you now today that it may bring us yet closer together to share in that most beautiful and eternal promise of everlasting life! I can see a picture in my mind of Elvis standing right beside Jesus in Glory, the Lord with his flowing robes and Elvis, both Radiant with Light and wishing to share this message with you all in ELC this very moment!

Lots of Love my friends and Peace be with you!

When I really think of advice Elvis gave me, I learned more from how he lived. He was a very powerful man who did not hurt people with that. - Jerry Schilling said that to me in referance to a question i posted in an online chat hosted by EPE!!

It behooves one to sense God as dwelling within each of us, rather than as some distant entity, far above and seemingly beyond our reach.

Excellent video TXWoman4!! :D One of my favorites of his Gospel songs(next to How Great Thou Art) and watching the video has made my heart overflow with emotion. :D The picture of Jesus lovingly embracing Elvis especially resonated within my heart. :D Sue-Lenora thank you so very much for allowing us to "see" that beautiful picture in your mind and enabling us to experience the beautiful message that Elvis is wanting to share with us. :D I strongly feel that Elvis, to the very best of his ability during his life, lived in the LIGHT and LOVE that burned so brightly within his heart and soul due to his unwavering Faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and ALWAYS shared the beauty of that radience with others no matter what difficult circumstances he himself may have been facing. :D I also, like Sue, feel that he still continues to share his LIGHT AND LOVE so that we can all better understand and feel the love of Jesus within our own hearts. :D Dearest Sue-Lenora you put it so beautifully here that I wanted to quote your loving words again---

Quote:
"May your knowledge and faith lead you forward and continue to bless your lives - even when you think you can't see the light and love of God, He is Always with us."

To this I say AMEN and thank you all for all of the many beautiful words and thoughts that were expressed here in this thread. :D May Love and Peace be with each and every one of you also. :D

Thank you very much for this beautiful video, TXsWoman4. It speaks very well of something as essential in Elvis as his faith, that took him HOME.

Great Video

Very inspirational job on the video. :) I noticed one posted comment was from someone who said that Elvis led him or her to Jesus, and I think Elvis would think it all worthwhile if only for that.

Also, TXsWoman4, I love the quote from Jerry Schilling that you use in your signature, that as powerful a man as Elvis was (or could've been had he chosen to exercise that influence he had), he never used it to hurt people, and he learned more from him by the way he lived. A nice testimony to Elvis and the more subtle influence he had (and has) on those around him.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR LIKING THE VIDEO! I put alot into that video and the others I have and posted on youtube.com. I am in the process now of trying to find a song that is fitting for a video commemorating the 30th anniversary of his passing. So if you have any ideas please email me with them. I haven't come up with anything.
