Thanks Wanda for the book, it has to be the best book l have read about elvis in such along time. He would of been proud, cause you made him look like a normal person unlike what others had written about him. :D

Thanks Lindsaygirl, to us he was normal, just living an abnormal life style which caused him to be a bit different.
I don't think he was ever quite like some of the things the other books have said he was-but then maybe he was because it was different circumstances than when I was around??? I only know what I heard with my own ears, saw with my own eyes and that's all I can really say anything about.
To try to analyze him entirely isn't something I could do-too much I don't know and wasn't around to view. Who knows, maybe he was "the devil in disguise" when home with his pals? He would laugh about that... It's funny though that most people who have come forth and tell about knowing him, meeting him, being around him for a length of time, some of them under trying times too, all say he was a nice guy, funny, kind and generous and they loved him dearly. Most of them would jump at the chance toi spend even an hour with him again. me included. wjh

I can totally 100% understand that for sure!

Wanda, if there was only one thing you could say you remember that would sum Elvis up, what would that be? Maybe one thing he said or did when you were around, either to meet him or in your phone calls, what is the one thing that you most cherish - sorry to put you on the spot there!  :!:
Seeks to encourage and inspire!
