I didn't dare to go there yet..don't know if I could face the pain that probably would reflect from those young people who died there..

No, I don't feel I could do this either, understand where you're coming from Zey Zia! There was a movie also, called "Gallipoli" wasn't there?

Bringing this thread back around also for anyone who may have missed this early on!

Just now getting to this thread. Missed another one, so I thank you Sue for bringing it back around. :D Amanda thank you so much for sharing James's feelings with us about the Elvis In Concert show. :D I completely agree with what Wanda said about how James saying that he could close his eyes and feel Elvis being there really does seem to show how well connected his spirit was to and how he "touched" Elvis the man and not just the entertainer. :) This was so very interesting to read and I thank you again Amanda for sharing it with us. :D I also thank you Maia for sharing your very special and sacred experience you had with Elvis that night at his show with the Red Scarf. :D I would definitely say there was a soul-to-soul connection there as well. :D

Information on James Burton Foundation

Postby Rainbow Light » Fri Sep 28, 2007 3:32 pm

The James Burton International Guitar Festival was created to help raise funds for the James Burton Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to raising money to provide technical training, music lessons and free guitars to young musicians.
James was fortunate that his parents sacrificed to purchase his first Fender guitar. Through his humble beginnings, James learned that a quality instrument is very important. It's been James' dream to give back to the community by helping young musicians realize their potential. Your participation in the James Burton International Guitar Festival and donation to the James Burton Foundation enables future generations of musicians to keep the music alive!
