FEEL LIKE THIS SPEAKS FOR MOST OF THE MM (NO NAMES BUT WE KNOW WHO WE MEAN), THE STANLEY FAMILY AND ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS JUMPED ON THE BANDWAGON WITH THE LATEST LIES THAT ARE MEANT TO SLANDER ELVIS' NAME AND TRY TO RIP HIM TO SHREDS VER THE YEARS - AS FOR MANY OF THOSE ROUND HIM, SUPPOSEDLY '24/7' - PLEASED THEY DIDN'T GET ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DESERVE ANYTHING!!!

LET'S FACE IT, THEY HAD MORE THAN BLED ELVIS DRY WHEN HE WAS ALIVE! HUMPH! PLEASE EXCUSE ME, ELC MEMBERS?, WHILE I HAVE MY SAY AND A 'HISSY FIT' OVER IT AT THE SAME TIME?! :x :x :(

"shy inhibited boy"

Postby Rainbow Light » Wed Aug 09, 2006 12:03 pm

Yes, the temptation was tempting and sometimes I liked to get him on the spot just to see that "shy, inhibited boy" of Glady's come out. And it was so easy to do-if you got past the macho Elvis thing he held up like a big shield at times. Catch him off guard and he must have squirmed like a kid caught doing something he shouldn't-and to get a "confession" out of him was funny as every thing.

Yeah, bet it was tempting at times and must have been fun to watch Elvis and his reactions too I'm sure!

Put this back up for newer members too and anyone who may have missed!

Thoughts and feedback huh?? Well, first of all how cute does our precious boy look in those pictures?? :P :D Poor, poor J.D. I've listened to shows where he has just absolutely cracked poor J.D. up with his crazy, silly but lovable antics onstage---especially during the song "Why Me Lord?" :P Secondly, I think I recall reading the story that Wanda had originally put on here before it was removed, and if I'm remembering it correctly, I want to thank you dear Wanda again from the bottom of my heart for being such a wonderful friend to him that you could tease him and get his "hackles risin" as he put it to you one time, and yet you could also cheer him up, and bring joy, love and laughter to him even on his darkest days. :D It takes a very special person with a very special heart to be able to do that and I thank you so much for being one of those special people in his life that could touch the heart of the MAN that went beyond the IMAGE. :D Next, as far as those certain "24/7" people in his life----all I will say is that anyone who is interested will be receiving a baseball bat from me for Christmas this year. :P  Lastly, thank you so much dear Sue for bringing this back again. :D See what happens when you ask for thoughts and feedback?? :P

You're welcome for my bringing this topic back around again and many thanks for your fantastic feedback, dear Mari! :D :P

I love the version of "Why Me Lord" as an example of how Elvis could crack poor ole JD up, fantastic and so very funny! :D :P

Very much agree with all your thoughts on Wanda too and thanks for mentioning this, great to know Wanda felt free to have some teasing time with Elvis and I'm sure he appreciated and loved that she could feel free to joke and tease with him too! :)
