Savoring the book

Postby 73smile on Tue Nov 07, 2006 6:29 pm

I generally read a book very quickly but I am reading Wanda's book slowly to savor the words and to think about the feelings that Elvis shared with Wanda. What a beautiful thing you have done Wanda, writing about the talks with Elvis so we could share them, and know they are written by someone who loved him for himself which is what he wanted.
In reading about when his wife left and how he blamed himself it made my heart sad, but it also was uplifting to know that Elvis had a loving friend to share his pain with and that was you.
Thank you,
Wanda

This is so very true, and meant so much to get to know so much more about Elvis by such a special friend as Wanda. Right on, Cooper 51! :D

Other Elvis fan friends have now ordered this to read; so many are fed up of so many negative books and want to know more about Elvis as a man, a human being at the heart and soul level - yep, I've assured them, this book will do that for sure! :)

Thank you Sue, and everyone who has done so much to help get this book known and read about. It sells slowly but it sells and is getting out there through word of mouth and via all the good people who look for Elvis books that they can enjoy and appreciate without worrying about being angry or upset over things said that don't seem right. Not so many of them coming out at the moment. People can judge for themselves, most of them; they can think back, watch videos and think about what is said and what theyve seen, the good far outweighs the negative. Like he said, "Love surpasses hate any day, most people know that, or they learn it through experience." wjh
