According to the information accesible to Maia from Thoth and the Akashic Register, Atlantean people survived the deluge in what actually are the Canary Islands, but that were mountains in Atlantis. Some of these people remained in the Islands, becoming the Guanches. Other groups went to Europe and to Egypt. The Druidic culture comes from the group that went to Europe.

Thanks Amanda for the extra information. I find "lost & suppressed" ancient history so interesting, especially given that it is largely not taught in our schools or accepted/allowed in the mainstream media.

I love to read things about "found" lost world items-and I spend a lot of time looking at rocks and finding "things" unusual even on our 6 acre plot! I'd like to be younger, I'd get one of the new high tech detectors and be out looking for "treasure". Wish it were possible to go to some of the ancient areas right here in the US of A. wjh
