Elvis - A Lighted Candle

Maia has put up another gallery to hold the precious letters, notes, cards and things from Elvis to my daughter, Starla. He was her "Uncle Elvis" he said, "by proclaimation" -his. Including one I wasn't aware of until recently-she is just now willing to share some of her memories.
Use my link to go there...from the index page just click on Wanda June Hill Remembers Elvis and then scrowl down to my gallery's 1. and now 2.

Maia worked hard doing all this for us, I hope everyone enjoys them.

Please, take to Starla my sincere appreciation for it!

It becomes even more obvious how much Elvis loved Starla, and viceversa. And it is so nice...

Dearest Wanda the right word has certainly been used here---these precious letter from Elvis to his "little Julie" are absolute TREASURES!!

As I read the letters, etc.....tears feel from my eyes as I could feel all of the love and emotion written in each one. My MANY thanks to sweet Maia for all of her hard work in putting this together for us, and to you Wanda and dear Starla for allowing us to share in such sweet, loving and precious memories with both of you.

As dear Di said, they definitely tell you about the HEART OF THE MAN as opposed to the IMAGE OF THE STAR.

JoAnna needs prayer, she is having problems with her health that are becoming serious again. She is needing encouragement and to know that she has friends who care. wjh

Thanks for letting us know of JoAnna's situation, Wanda. We have all appreciated her input here. She seems like a kind hearted individual and I'm so sorry to hear that her health troubles have amplified. May God's healing energy cause every cell in her body to recharge itself and fight off her ailments. Perhaps a personal spiritual visit from Elvis would also be in order?

I am very sorry to read about JoAnna's health problems getting worse for her again, poor lady!
