Hi, well, I don't know-but I do know he liked to wear things different and that people sent him things all the time-some of them he'd wear...like he had turban's from Harum Scarum and some were sent to him and I think he told me that the daughter's of the Shah who came and visited at a studio set gave him some that Prince's would wear- He wore them out a few times, not as a disguise so much as just to be wearing them. He also liked "costumes" and sometimes wore things like that-only in his case, they were probably just something he considered regular things other people might wear...but you know he liked very much to be "different" not because he wanted attention necessarilly either-just to be... That was him... like he was "being somebody else" for a time???? I don't know-he just did it what he wanted to do and that meant clothing choices also.
Like who but him would wear a cape? And think nothing of it? wjh

Exactly! Elvis sure had his own ways, choice and style of clothes but he would try other things on and many thanks, Wanda, for your comments and insight/reply to Fairytale's question above! :D :D

Hi Wanda Thanks for your Answer to the Picture, I know it didn't matter want Elvis wore it was always Wonderful. I think he could have been a Fashion Designer. Like the colors he would wear, they would look like crap on other guys. But on Elvis they looked Great, they had another picture of Elvis with the same Turban and coat on and he is sitting with some Childern. I was wondering if maybe one of them gave him the Turban? :D So how are you doing today? FairyTale!

My thanks to you also dear Wanda for your most interesting and insightful reply to our sweet FairyTale's question. :D :D Our dear Elvis was definitely a star of fashion "fer sure!!" :P :D I go back once again to something that I have said about him before--in this case it's not "the clothes that make the man" but rather for Elvis the "man that made the clothes!!" :P :D Oh and how good he made everything look!! :D
