It is easy to write about the beauty and the generous spirit that was
present always then and it did not demand much in return,
instead the beauty of the man gave pleasure to millions all over the vast world and his spirit was the twin to the beauty that comprised who Elvis was and the dreams that he would share with us.
A vase is pretty, it can be small or it can be large and made of the finest china and it is better that the vase is filled with flowers of every hue of the rainbow then it is to leave the vase empty to set on a shelf unused and
not given more than a second look; Elvis was not set on a shelf to be admired but instead he lived to give joy.
There are not enough flowers to fill a vase enormous enough that could possibly compare with the colors that Elvis brought to the world in every shade and style, nor are there words enough that can be written that celebrate Elvis' gift of faith, hope, happiness, generosity and most important of all it was his love that reached out to us.
I thank you Elvis for giving so much to me that I continue to want my
vase to be filled with hope like yours was, a faith that you never doubted, joy that was evident to any person hearing you sing or watching you when you smiled, and your smile filled not just the pictures so many took of you, but your smile filled the hearts of all of us on earth.
Love,
Marjorie
