Hi all!

Just to let you know I received a pm from Mari, in part which said,

In any case, I leave on this upcoming Wed. July 23rd and will get back late at night on Aug. 6th. Wish I wasn't going to be gone so long, but that's the way the travel dates wound up working out. Joe will be keeping an eye on all of the SPAM for me while I'm gone so now worries about that hon. If it's not too much to ask, could you please keep me in your prayers for this trip to go well for me, and if you could let all of my other ELC angels know that I'll be gone for the next week or so and that I will miss them all(and you ) very much?? Honestly, that is one reason that I don't want to be gone that much because I will miss being here at ELC with all of you ---my "other" family whom can show so much unconditional love, understanding and support whenever it's needed!! I truly love you all so much and always keep each and every one of you close in my heart and always in my prayers!!

She asked me to let everyone know she'll be away for the time mentioned and if we could all keep her in our prayers as per above? Thank you, dear ELC angels!

Unfortunately, I only have a little time online today but will be able to devote more of my time and concentration on Saturday so look forward to being with you all again then! Do wish I had more chance to be here more often but a case of juggling several multi-colored 'balls' in life right now!

Thank you so much Sue my dear angel for letting our angels know about my trip and for the much needed prayers. Sweet Amanda the bubbles of love and all the prayers were truly felt while I was gone!! Awww, girls..... Your beautiful and kind words about me really mean more to me than you'll ever know, and are so appreciated especially right now, because I'm actually going through quite a sad and confusing time in my life right now so I truly treasure the things you've said!!! Sweet Trish, I have missed seeing you here too and want you to know that you have been kept in my thoughts and prayers also! It is so good to be able to catch up with you here whenever you do get the chance!! I'm sorry you're going through a sad and confusing time of your life. Your posts are always so encouraging and heartwarming, I would have had a hard time guessing that! Although I know you've been working to get all your health back, I was hoping it was all going very well, as it seems to be by your sunny disposition. I'm sad you're sad.

Wanda my sweet friend thank you so much! It is nice to see that precious "little boy" with all of his teddy bears isn't it?? I've always loved that publicity still that he did for "Loving You" because he has such a sweet "little boy innocence" about him sitting with all his teddy bears. Back in the days when he actually got enjoyment out of his beginning film career and it showed. Trish my dear angel thank you so much for all of your warm and encouraging wishes and prayers on my behalf It fills my heart with such light and happiness-"really"(to quote our dear guy )!! As far as my health goes, I was fine the day I came back from my trip a couple of weeks ago then the very next day I felt horrible. Some type of nasty virus or something. Anyhow, I think in time I'll be ok--got some medicine from the dr. so hopefully that will help. Wanda it kind of reminds me of one time when you were talking to Elvis and he was coughing his poor head off on the phone. He said he had taken some medcine but then said something like"awwww what are you supposed to do in the meantime" since the poor baby was still coughing up a storm and couldn't take any more medicine because it was so "powerful" as I think he put it. That's pretty much where I'm at too. Trish thank you so much for your very kind offer of being able to pm to talk. Ya know my dear angel, methinks I just might take you up on that, and I just hope you don't wind up regretting it as I tend to go on sometimes.
