Wanda how are you today, I thought I would say Hi. there sure isn't a lot of Posting going on here at ELC, I guess everyone is enjoying their Summer. Boy it as really be To Hot To Soon here in Ole Virginia, we have had Temps in the upper 90s and 100s all week. God only knows what July and August well be like, it as gotten Hot to Quick. My Poor Kitties are Misrable, I'm getting a Air Conditioner with my Last check from my job. I had to leave my Job, I'm in just to much pain. I'm not going to try and work anymore, I just can't do it. Well I hope your doing Good! FairyTale!

oh so sorry to hear that fairytale,
the weather here dont help none its hellish hot today, and for a week or more my shoulders really hurt , really worse in the morning as i wake up, ive had that for a week, so i know how you feel, hope it will lessen with time for you, and it must be awfull trying to work with it too

Yes, it has been very slow on the forum these past few months. A few of the regulars only rarely post now. And I find it hardly worth it to post new threads if I get little or no replies, so I have felt led to cut back. Hopefully things will pick up again in the future.

Yes, I second that! I enjoy everyone here, and the new ones who come by too- I haven't been in a "talkative" mood much lately either- but that could change - you all know me- never shut up sometimes!

Every one here is doing pretty good, Starla working her head off being the watermellon queen and now she's got some new stores comin in so she'll be even more stretched. Soft fruit will be here too and that's a big deal. People eat when they don't spend on other things- they like veggies and fruits though things aren't cheap anymore.
I got to sample the new nectrines yesterday-pretty good too. They also have a new tangerine coming out and it's more like a cara-cara orange which is good, less acid in them.

Our Foxx is fine, I have put some feelers out to some Hollywood animal trainers as he's perfect as a show horse or trick horse and loves doing things related. Also going to put some ads out at some of the stables with people who have money etc:...things are very slow. But we will see.

I am sorry about your job, fairytale. I hope your pain eases up.
We are experiencing the kind of weather you are.
In Michigan today it is high 80s and HUMID to the point that it sucks the will to move out of me. We do not have air conditioning. On these kinds of Michigan summer days I pull the drapes, run all the fans I have and wear shorts. I do not go to town in shorts but in the house okay. I am 57 but I do not exercise like I should and I am fair enough skinned that if I am in the sun long I burn and that is not fun.
We are having the auction here on June 21st so please everyone pray for no rain here on that day and cooler temperatures---the better the weather the better the crowd and the bigger donation I can make to ELC!!!!

Hi You All it is finally a Whole Lot Cooler here today, and I finally got on the Forum today to. It must have been the heat because I couldn't get on the Forum at all Yeaterday, but like Wanda said about what Elvis would say, if you say it enough things well turn back to Normal. It looks like it Worked to, So Please everyone don't stop posting. I always try to be here, and there well always be someone here to answer you. FairyTale!

I hope you feel better FairyTale and I'm sure you will be looking forward to that air conditioner We were going through a heat wave in southern California and it was really unbearable. Nights are cool but not quite enough to air out the heat in the house. I'm cutting back on using the air con to save some money. I don't look forward to summers here unfortunately.

I thought I would let Wanda and everyone know that I went back to my Job last night, I talked to my Supervisor Thursday and she told me she would take care of the problem. She told me she liked my work, and that she didn't want me to quit. So I went back, I guess it helps to stand up for yourself a little. Besides I won't forget my first day when Elvis was singing over the store intercom, I feel he had a hand in me not quiting my Job to. FairyTale!

I'm very sorry to read about your recent situation, Fairytale, that you've had no choice but to now quit your job! Love bubbles and prayers that you're able to sort out with the government as it really stinks they treat you like they have with the SSI benefits!
