hi wanda i was reading maias messages from Elvis thread , and it says he gave lisa marie the name Angelica, a spirit name, i remember in your book that Elvis liked people with a A at the end of their name , i suppose hence lisa and cilla , and that he added an extra A on the end of a name of a person he liked, does that mean id be JULIEA , or julia.

and i wonder does he give each of us on ELC a spirit name , dont know if he does , how would we find put our spirit names maia , maybe Elvis could tell you maybe sometime eh what you think.

should i ask him myself in my mind and see if he gives me a sign maybe
would be interesting to know if he gives each of us an individual spirit name , whats mine Elvis if i have one, my mum nearly called me Sharon,but when the registrar said whats her name mrs joyce she said she said without thinking and said JULIE Ann Joyce.

Good question Julie. Elvis wanted to call his child a name that went with her spirit, what she would be-he was going from Numerology and wanted a name that would have a number that would give her strength, patience and understanding as well as a good hold on her place on earth. He liked Angelica-but apparently he must have or Pris must have helped, in deciding to call her Lisa-he still called her my angel Lisa at times speaking of her and probably did to her as well...He always liked the name Marie too he said, especially after the song that used that name and I can't remember the tie to it with persons if there was one. He sang two songs with that name, Marie's the name of his latest flame and then the one where he says Operator, marie's just 6 years old etc: and tried to call me..sort of the story of his life at the time and it also has Memphis Tennessee in it so he would like it. I think he would have called you both your names-he called our daughter Little Julie-not Juliann and then when didn't know about Starla but he sang very softly into her ear Twinkle, twinkle little star the first time he met her and held her on his knees with his guitar in front of them. Putting her fingers on the strings under his and I think right then, inspired her to become a song writer/singer and have her own band after his death.
Of course from the day she was home after birth, she slept beneath a ceiling speaker that played Elvis music all most all lthe time when her father was home. So she grew up hearing Elvis-even before she was born-that's the only recordings we owned! And at first only one!.
She had to love him-it was ordained by her father! I'd like to know what spirit names would be ours too. He didn't use the a thing with me because he called me nick names-very seldom said my name-unless he was trying to really make a point- He just used "pet" phrases and his honeys, etc:. A southern kind of thing. The last time we met, he said my name twice...when I realized that later, it kind of put a sense that my feelings about why he wanted to see me were correct-he was saying goodbye and acknowledging friendship and in using my name he made sure I would know that he knew it and I was not just one of the "honey's" he knew so many of. He did the same with two other friends we had met through him-he spoke their names in the last conversation he had with them, and he hadn't done that much in their relationship either. They made the same connection as I. Even my daughter, after his death realized he was telling her goodbye-he told her he loved her and said her name when he had called her honey and little one etc:...so, I am convinced that he knew his days were short and he was doing what he could to prepare us by giving us something to hold after he was gone. His affection and friendship. And it's still here. He's here for us all-he did the same with his fans, from the stage. He gave one last show for the world to see and he wasn't being Elvis out there-he was being himself, Gladys and Vernon's boy who loved being Elvis...but was still just a man on a mission yes, but still flesh, blood and bone and he cared very much for all his fans and fellow humans. I'm sure he has now found "names" for those he keeps in touch with-there must be millions! And each one special to him. He said that when we die, our spirit goes on and is a helper for God, who needs them as angels who can do his business when he's busy doing it elsewhere. It's a simple anology but it works. And I believe it. wjh

It would be interesting to know if he would give me one.
He hardly ever said my name! One other time I recalled him using my name was when I was almost to the gate leading out to Perugia to go to my car and he came to the side door of his house and didn't really yell, but said loudly, "Wan-na, wait up, be right there!" I understood that as my name-could be he was just saying "wan 'na wait up? Be right there." Anyway, he came out with the books he asked me to stop by for- wjh

I always thought a spirit name is given to you when you reached the 4th heaven. Then we are lose from earthly thinking and it can be given to us.

I'm not saying this to be cross or anything. Just had to think of this
When we reach that place life gives us that name.

Hi Zey, I was working on Face 2 Face, hadn't been at that for a while and it's coming along. I am at the conversations section so now have to choose them and put them inorder according to time of year etc:. Still not boiled down which ones to use and not to use. Hard to choose. But funny will be some. I am curious what name will come up for me-could be a scary thing! ha. wjh

yes wanda i believe lots of americans mostly seem to put my first and last together JULIEANN , i dont mind that as it kinda makes it sound better maybe lol

my mum said al the time she was carrying me i was a sharon , then when they asked her what name for birth certificate , she said julie ann joyce .
so i guess at last min that was the name i was meant to have wasnt it .

Joe Krein has put more on the interview that we did, it's at the end part. He is trying to help as much as he can with the book and thinks maybe someone is working through him. He received a book written by Linda T.'s friend and in it she tells that there was a private line upstairs that didn't go through the downstairs phone system and Elvis could have used it anytime without their knowing who he spoke to. They tried to say I couldn't have been calling him or him me without them knowing because all calls went through that downstairs in the kitchen phone system. They didn.'t. He had two lines I think that were private upstairs-he could answer one phone and then the other also and I could hear what he said on the other phone-his side of the conversation but not the caller's. I think he did use the private line to call most people, those he didn't want anyone listenting in on-he hated that-and so didn't use that system for personal calls...or at least that's my thoughts. Anyway Joe was excited he had "proof" that there was private phone lines upstairs at Graceland! There were in other places too- Only twice that mattered, did someone other than Elvis answer his phone-the numbers I had for him. Neither time did I get to speak to him when they did...One other time, Elvis fell asleep, he was congested and I was worried about him having taken another pill given to him by some guy who came in his room. Elvis fell asleep fast, I called back a bit latter because I was concerned, a man answered and said he's not here and hung up. It wasn't Elvis. That was when he was playing Vegas and we saw that next nights shows-Elvis was having trouble waking up, slower and looked puffy faced and was sneezing and coughing quite a bit. Didn't get to see him afterward either-they wouldn't let me go up. wjh
