Elvis - A Lighted Candle

Contemplating on the One who choose the BLUE ROSE as symbol, this poem flowed through me. It is meant for me and you.

Expand your HEART more and more
go through the DOOR
find what's yours
Open doors everywhere you go
don't say "no"
With me flow to the heaven above
on golden wings of inspiration
- meditation, concentration
Timeless infinity
whirling in space -
there's your place

Look into my face
ever changing, but still the same
let's play the game
here with mirth and laughter
with sorrow and pain
- they are the same
it's only a game
My name, my fame
only a game

Go to the star, near and far
inside and outside
within and without
Go out and shout
that I am here
I am dear
I am near
- do not fear!

You are dear to me,
- and free
so may it be

( With " star inside" is meant the Ajna Chakra, the inner star of wisdom, he once wanted us to concentrate on in meditation)

I believe you are right. What I feel there is the ONE , expressing through the point where your Heart and El'vis' come to be one.

It brings back to my mind the logotype El'vis chose, that of two intertwined hearts with the Blue Rose in the center.

This time, the appeal is to dare and be FREE TO BE!

This is a very beautiful poem Christine. Just seems to flow like rolling waves, effortlessly & seamlessly. At the end, is the "I AM" referring to God? I was just wondering as I know in the Bible "I AM" is how God refers to himself. But perhaps you mean it differently.

I knew beyond a doubt that "God" was everywhere, in everything and in ME - the enduring Self. I was to come to understand later than even the "Self" will eventually merge with the ALL, but that is further into the Sacred Deep than I dwell at this time. I am still experiencing the "I AM" in a greatly expanded version as it is here, where I dwell.

Laurie, after I wrote the poem I read again Elvis' message from 16th of August. And there he talked about the I AM.
I think this explains your question.
"I AM" is certainly GOD- consciousness as written in the Bible.
