magic touch

Postby sweetangeline » Tue Jan 17, 2006 3:27 pm

I always wished to see elvis in my dreams,to hear his voice and to touch his beautiful face .two years ago I got severely sick.high fever and severe pain tortured my body, I couldn,t rest and I couldn,t eat, I was so miserable that I began to cry, suddenly I felt something like a breeze on my face I opened my eyes and saw his dear face just beside me! I couldn,t move, and I couldn,t make a sound.I was bewitched. He touched my body smoothly and the pain had gone.Untill this day I,m not still sure if it was a dream or reality, but whatever it was it touched my life deeply.

I personally don't doubt but that he came to you. He did this for many people when he was alive as as well as since his transition.

To 'Sweetangeline'

Thank you for sharing this!

How wonderful! What an experience that must have been for you. It could have been dream or reality but the main thing is that Elvis was there for you to help you at that time and I can truly understand how this must have been so touching for you and a deep impact on your life.

Have had a few experiences regarding Elvis: a mysterious sudden breeze once in Tupelo, only lasted seconds but being in August and then back to that high humidity? Guess you are familiar with it? but right back up the hill back of the birthplace where Elvis went near the very end of his life to just be with his thoughts and the 'outlook', where you can see over Tupelo. What if?

Have been aware of a 'vision' (via the spiritual third eye) of Elvis - dressed all in white with a spectacular rainbow aura surrounding him, truly beautiful and somewhere out there, doing just fine!

However, being such a spiritual soul I honestly believe he is still helping, guiding, and - from your experience, healing us, bless him!

Such a sweet man in life and beyond!!!

Take care, best wishes

Have you ever read "Elvis After Life" by Ron Moody? A really great book on "Elvis visitations" after his death. Many of these people were NOT Elvis fans, and yet he still came to them!

You can find a link to it on my "recommended" page:

Elvis' presence

Postby Rainbow Light » Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:28 pm

Yes, that sounds really familiar to me too. I feel in my heart that Elvis knows we all think of, remember and love him so much that he cannot help but be drawn to us especially at quiet, still and meditative times when we are close and open to Spirit he is there.

have you ever have him in your dreams when you really wanted it to happen? I sometimes dream of him when I call him before going to sleep, specially when I pray for his soul.

It's great to know that there are more who feel his presence.
Makes me feel less 'weird'.
If I'd ever tell the people around me the way I feel about Elvis I think they would lock me up or something.

Perhaps best not to and I certainly wouldn't mention what I share on the Forum here with anyone else, don't think that would be the best idea! To tell them that we love Elvis and his music, that we're proud of loving him etc is one thing and lets' face it, this usually generates ENOUGH of a response, huh?!!

Yes, you're right.
Except for those very close to me, like my parents and my best friends and don't tell people that I like Elvis. I hate the reactions it brings about. For instance, at my job no one knows that I like him. I just don't mention it. We have the radio on the whole day and sometimes he's on the radio, but I never mention how great I think he is.

When I was a child (even till I was about 20) I told everyone around me how great he was. Actually I couldn't talk about anything else but him. But people have this idea about Elvisfans. They make fun of us (like they make fun of him), so I think it's better not to share my love for him.
It's sad when you come to the think of it. But I have a rather important position at work and I can't risk not to be taken seriously.

Realise and appreciate this and think especially when you love Elvis so much, the reactions it can create can be so painful personally. Feel like when they attack Elvis, they are also attacking me :(

Maybe that sounds crazy or  but guess I just can't help it you know?

Well, people have a right to their opinon, but it is not coming from the heart to "put down" someone's feelings, likes, loves just because you don't personally resonate with it. You can be honest and respectful at the same time, it just takes some sensitivity and not speaking before you think...and feel. Alot of people are just to lazy or uncaring, or both to bother to do this.

Sure, as you say people have a right to their own opinion and I don't have a problem as such with people saying they don't like Elvis or his music (though there's, in all honesty, no way I can EVER understand it! :) but if they start pulling Elvis down strip by strip it's another matter entirely.

However, MOST people do this to try and rile us up, get a reaction or both in some cases obviously too and do we really want to do that? After all, isn't it going to be EXACTLY what they wanted and were after in the first place? Like, 'oh well, that' s what we knew you, as an Elvis fan WOULD say'?! Know what I mean?

I can see and understand your views to this, Zey, for real as far as people deserving Elvis. However, it's kind of interesting sometimes: though some people can't 'get' Elvis (impossible to believe I know but there you are!) yet they understand or acknowlege that Elvis 'must have had or possessed something special to be who he was and remembered so long' or something along those lines. Not everyone of course but a fair few do for sure, gives us some hope anyway, eh?!

Along the same lines: I have a 24kt gold replica disc of Suspicious Minds up on my living room wall and that proves to be a talking point for certain - fortunately, I can assure you the comments received are far more positive than negative in this regard which is somewhat gratifying it has to be said! :D

Would be interested to hear any further thoughts on above? in particular in regard to items they own that have brought forward comments?

Thanks! Sue
