What waves of LOVE it would arise, Lisa Marie and Elvis singing together. Yet I feel the time is closer. Now and then I go to YouTube to view the formidable and touching "Don't Cry Daddy" Lisa did with her father. For new friends, there is the link again:

Yes Lisa would have been great to 'duet' with her father on AMERICAN IDOL, that much more special!

Thank you, Amanda for the 'Don't Cry Daddy' duet link for our new members and yes it is most touching, great to see from time to time! Was most fortunite to have been in Memphis and at the particular show where this was first shown: WOW! It's difficult to really explain the exact audience reaction but not a dry eye in the house after that performance!! , was in 1997 but still my eyes well up with tears of love and pride for Elvis and Lisa when I think on it!

I may imagine the reaction of the audience at the time, taking in consideration the effect it has on me through a video... Lisa is so connected to Love while singing, shining like a heavenly star... When she finishes the song, it seems she explodes in Light. And one wishes to witness more of that wonder...

Yep, Memphis in 1997 for the 20th anniversary that show was so cool and was the pre-starter (if I can call it that) for the series of Elvis concerts that would follow in USA/CANADA/EUROPE etc a few years later starting with Wembley though the duet was only performed at this one original concert but for sure absolutely fantastic!

Priscilla and Lisa stepped out and talked to the audience which really rather set the scene and it was amazing to see, just wanted to see that again and again like you couldn't truly believe what you were seeing exactly on the video so you needed to view it for a second and third time etc just to check that wasn't part of a dream, you know?!
