Wanda asked me to post this...

It is Wanda and Suzie reaching for Elvis, with JoAnna's blonde hair on the right side of the camera shot. Photo in pretty bad shape - I managed to improve it some in Photoshop. I didn't even know Wanda HAD any photos of her and Elvis tho. thought they were all in the box that was stolen along with Suzie's car and dog!

It's so fine to see at last Wanda and Elvis close together, even through a poor quality picture like this...!

Which one is Wanda and which one is Suzie? My thought is that Wanda you are the one closer to the camera lense, on the left, with the long wavy brown (or reddish brown?) hair and pink in white dress. Is that true?

THANKS MAIA! IT SHOWS UP BETTER. Yeah, I am 5'3 1.2 and had to stretch over the barricade that was right in front of the stage and I'm reaching up to hand him the gold eagle and he had given me the scarf in my other hand, a white one which I gave to a lady friend who couldn't get to the stage to get one. Then behind me kind on the right side you can see the profile of Suzy who is gazing up at him and reaching up; that's her finger that is sticking out like a "long nose" in front of what would be my face if it was a clear shot. He gives her a scarf too, leans way down and calls her "my baby" and says some other things. She was floating! And Joanna is behind us and that's her hair. The camera person just happened to get that shot and it is the only one I have left-it wasn't stolen because we didn't take it as it wasn't good quality and not show up much in the book. Those color photos were so expensive, I wanted good ones used of him. The picture was awful printed in black and white so I still have it. I gave Elvis the Avon Bold Eagle because he asked me to find something he could buy from the Avon lady with the special needs daughter-he wanted something pretty for a man. Well I chose their newest decanter-a Gold Eagle standing on a globe like the earth. He later bought 6 of them from her-they were the most expensive items at the time. He bought them to help her out without just giving her money etc: and it let him talk to her some, I think he was trying to find a way to do something for her daughter to help out since Ronald Reagon had signed a bill that cut a lot of money from the special needs children's fund. The Avon lady's little girl got cut back as she wasn't bad off enough they determined, and the Avon lady was worried. I had mentioned this to Elvis and he was looking for a way to get his "two cents" in there, I am sure though at the time it didn't occur to me. I just knew he wanted her to have some extra money so I picked the expensive item as it was one he'd like. He kept two of them setting on his desk upstairs-one on each corner-they looked like bronzed sculptures. Also will look for the picture of Rachel getting a kiss from Elvis who is laying on his belly to do it. He had told her he would do the show just for her, and then he said while on stage the show was dedacated to someone in the audience whose name he would not reveal. He kissed her and nobody else then called her the next day to tell her again he had done that show for her and it was to thank her for something she had done for him. She worked for a heart specailist at the time...he called her often to discuss his health and medication programs...It is kind of strange she is distantly related to Priscilla- her last name is spelled the same as Priscilla's maiden name and their relatives are from Canada via France. Elvis knew this and thought it was "nice to know her" though he didn't think he'd tell his wife about that.
Those relatives were not "on the right side of the tracks" so to speak I guess, as they didn't socialize or keep in touch. Anyway, she and Elvis are very clear and precise in the photo. Starla says it's in the photo albums in the back bedroom and I'll have to look for it. So at least she knows their "hidding" place! I will find it. I think it's in the first WR,E in black and white-but not sure right now since I haven't seen it in years.
That dress I am wearing was covered with flowers and beautiful birds and was a chiffion shaWL thing that went over the long top and had black pants to go with it. It was cold so I was layered to keep warm! Yep I had long reddish brown, sun streaked hair back then.
Another funny thing is that Elvis was standing in front of the drums when I went to the stage edge and could barely see over the thing so I was on my knees on the top of the baricade to reach higher. He got a drink from Charlie, turned around, saw me and made a beeline over to me with a grin on his face and reached down with the scarf Charlie had just given him, gave it to me then reached to get the eagle, he didn't say hardly a word to me as he saw Suzy and immediately pulled the scarf off his neck and gave it to her and said a few words as he held her hand. Then he did his next song-"And I love you so"-she was sure it was just for her because she'd said it was her favorite that he did on stage. She just stood there with tears in her eyes gazing up at him until the guard came and escorted her back the few feet to her seat. She was just floating in the air over her boy right then. He kept looking at her as he sang it too. wjh

Even though the photo isn't the best quality, it makes my heart rejoice in seeing a picture of Elvis and Wanda close together along with a glimpse of Suzy and JoAnna too! I feel GENUINE LOVE coming from this picture so strongly! Sweet Wanda thank you so much for the wonderful explanation of the picture with all of the great details you provided.

Thanks so much for bringing this back around again. It's so great to see this picture of Wanda, Suzy, etc. I always think about how much I wouldn't know without our Wanda. I sure hope she's feeling better.

Hello all!
I am using my new computer and Hughes net for the first time!!! It is fast and I have to get used to this keyboard and having it a little larger than my old one. Had a heck of a time getting on line because I am so slow- the guy probably thought I was a hundred years old- it was funny. Anyway, I'm back-

I have to tell you all that I have a handsome young fella who stepped up as my angel and redid this great computer so that I could be back on line again. I can't say enough about how wonderful he is, heart and soul to do this and his mom for sending it to me! I don't know what I ever did to deserve such a wonderful gift- of the world actually...it's a stunner, fer sure. Anyway, he is called Gabriel...and is aptly named! And...he is a handsome dude too!

Thanks Laura and everyone for being patient and for the input on this topic. I wish I had a better photo but we were so lucky to even get that one! It was a fluke because usually the photographer didn't waste film - he just snapped
ELvis from every angle possible. I laugh every time I see my self because I'm stretching as far as I can and I look like a pregnant guppy the way the scarf shawl is hanging. And I remember the big grin on his face as he hurried over to get the Bold Eagle Decanter...probably curious to see what I had picked out since he had asked me to choose something he could buy. I did not know what his intentions were when he asked, but should have realized that he was going to make sure the lady selling the Avon got some sales. He was such a sweetheart, so generous and thoughtful most of the time, it didn't matter who the person was, how old, race or place in life. He just gave from the heart and didn't let the mind get involved in whys etc:. He said it was "his blessing" to see the happiness or to know that he could help out in some way. That was all that mattered. He was right, it truly is when it's done from love and selflessness.

I like it. You really did have to s-t-r-e-t-c-h to reach him. Boy you are a tiny thing at 5'3" and you don't look heavy to me. I am 5'7" and a beanpole, so I am just the opposite. I can almost feel your excitement in trying to reach him. Did you always get that electrified feeling around him that people talk about? I was wondering if you still got that even though you were friends. I think if I met him I would just want to stroke his face and look him straight in the eye, if I dared. In reality, I would probably turn to spagetti. It must have been amazing to go up to his suite. Holy smokes, Wanda.

I just adore your stories and can't wait for Face To Face to come out. I am not rushing you Miss Wanda, I am just needing an Elvis story fix. Your book, We Remember Elvis is what REALLY changed me around and helped me to see the truth after all the garbage I found on line. It is my prized possession. You told ME the truth through your book and I am forever grateful for that. Before I had my Elvis dream I wasn't even a fan and really didn't know him well at all. After my dream I felt compelled to find out about him. What a shock to read what I did about him. It was mostly negative until I found this site and your book. Now, everyday, I am on line seeking more possitive truth's about Elvis. It is a quest and a mission.

Well, enough blabbering. I love that picture Wanda.

Oh, Wanda! I'm with Laurie, also expecting your "Face to Face"!

I'm not coming so much into the Forum, but YOU are very close to my heart, dear Wanda. I think of you very often. Your book is always near and I love to read pieces of it often by night. I still smile, laugh or cry while reading, when Elvis and you do in your conversations. I tried several times to get in touch with you by email, without results.

We are living difficult yet very interesant times, which with luck, will take out the best from us. I sure hope things are not that hard for you, Wanda. You have already some very Lightful Souls taking care of you and your family... and Elvis probably is the first "running" to your side if in need.

AMANDA! So glad to see you posting. Miss you on here, but I know it's hard to keep coming daily for busy people. I think of you too, and wonder how Spain is doing. I don't hear from Maia much either, but we check in now and then. I have been off here for so long, how ever I am getting better and have learned how to sit so my leg doesn't start cramping as fast. Hopefully that will end soon.

I've received an email from Maia recently within the last week or so and though she's not totally out of 'the woods' health-wise she's had some improvement for sure which is great to hear/read! Again, Praise the Lord!!

Any way, there goes in ethereal form -thus un-seen by our current vision- a WHOLE field of BLUE ROSES, each shining with starry dew, being part of the extreme beauty of a constantly renewed garden, "up there". This is the garden El'vis Aaron talked about through Maia, the one that received the love from his fans and from those that kept his memory alive with love, and that sent LOVE back to the world.

Lets remember we are all connected at soul level and that we are always able to process LOVE, to actualize it inside ourselves, as to bring it out to alight our sorroundings, clean and bright.
