September Guided Meditation
It is not I, but the Christ within who does the work.
We welcome this opportunity to join in the sacred activity of prayer with praying friends around the globe. As we pray, we are one in heart and mind, and we deepen our awareness of the presence of God within.
God is love, and this love is the true source of peace. We take this opportunity to become still, center ourselves in God’s loving presence, and become radiant centers of peace. Our future and the future of our world begins in this moment, and by opening ourselves to peace and love, we move forward to more harmonious, more enlightened ways of living.
As one serene heart radiates peace to another, then each in turn to others around them, peace multiplies and transforms individuals, nations, and the world. During this time of prayer, let us radiate love and peace and reach out to people everywhere with this thought:
We are peacemakers, one in the love
of God. With hearts united,
we establish harmony and peace in
our lives and in the world.
In the silence, we touch the presence of God within and find perfect peace.
As we enter the silence, we touch the presence of God. God is within and around us, and we are always immersed in divine peace and love. Relaxing in the presence of God now, we set aside the cares of the day and let peace lift us beyond any sense of concern.
In this moment, we open our hearts and minds to inner peace. Peace soothes and strengthens us to move through each day with poise and confidence. Sustained by the peace of God, we continue to envision ourselves and people everywhere serene and calm. We rest now as we pray in the silence …
We are guided by God to the fulfillment of our dreams.
In the stillness of prayer, we develop an ever-increasing awareness of the love and wisdom of God that are readily available to us. This love, this wisdom guide us in all we do. As we turn within for direction, we become more receptive to the insights and understanding we are seeking.
We let go of any preconceived notion about the outcome and trust God to guide us on the right path. Inspired and encouraged to move forward, we take this truth into the stillness of prayer and listen for clear direction as we commune with God in these quiet moments …
One with the mighty healing power of God, we are whole in mind, body, and spirit.
This quiet time allows us to reaffirm that we are being guided on the path of wholeness. We are one with the healing life of God, and we trust this healing power within to do its perfect work in mind, body, and spirit.
With faith in this healing power, we pause to reflect on the revitalizing activity that is taking place in every cell of our body temples. We envision every atom and organ filled with ever-renewing energy and strength that enable us to do what is ours to do.
Sustained by the healing life of God and encouraged by the knowledge that wholeness is already ours to claim, we rest now as we pray …
We are Gods beloved, filled with divine ideas and blessed with abundance.
We acknowledge God as our source, our Creator. We open mind and heart to God, and we are inspired with prospering ideas and ways to use them. With these prospering ideas, we live rich and meaningful lives.
In a spirit of gratitude, we give thanks to God for opportunities to experience new blessings each day.
Our hearts and minds are receptive to the many blessings that lie ahead as we still our thoughts in the silence …
What a precious time this has been. Together with praying friends in every area of the world, we have reached out in faith to one another and to people everywhere. We see each individual open to the presence of God within and receptive to the blessings of light, life, love, and peace that make life complete.
Refreshed and renewed by these sacred moments, we can return to our activities with new energy, zeal, and confidence. Let us pray the “Prayer for Protection” together and carry its words in our hearts throughout the rest of our day:
The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches over us.
Wherever we are, God is!
