The 2nd one is a stunning picture, but the first one touches me because it looks like the May-June 1975 tour. I became a truly loyal fan on May 31, 1975, when I saw him in concert for the first of two times, and he was wearing the red version of that suit (white with red phoenix). He was the most gorgeous thing I'd ever (and HAVE ever) seen. So that photo reminds of a truly memorable night in my life. Thanks for posting it.

Hi, I love that blue version of the suit-he was beautiful in it. There was a lady who got to meet him on the way to the concert we saw when he wore it-she said she told him he was the "most gorgeous man she had ever seen" and she said he looked at her kind of like he wondered if she was nuts but then he blushed and his eyes flickered and he leaned forward, said may I kiss you? and then kissed her gently on the lips. She said she probably had to be pryed loose because she next remembers two guys holding her up while Elvis and the others went on down the hallway. She was embarrased but didn't care-he kissed her, he actually looked at her, spoke to her and kissed her. And she said I got to tell him how beautifully gorgeous he was. So, that's what you might have got had it been you Wanda Mc! I wish it had been you! Love, wjh

Thanks for the beautiful pics Di. Elvis had the most beautiful designs on his stage suits. And they carried meaning with them as well. Maia has their meanings posted in "Robes of Light" pn the main ELC web site.

I love Elvis in blue. He looks so good in that color. But white symbolizes spiritual purity I believe, plus it stands out well on stage, and the designs show up well too.

I think the blue suit might be one of my favorites. I can imagine how it looked with those beautiful blue eyes. That woman got it half right Wanda. Most gorgeous on the outside but also on the inside.

PS I know my reaction would have probably been the same as hers. Or maybe I could have acted normally. Nah, that would not have happened.

What is normal when the most stunning man in the world looks you in the eye, asks permission to kiss you, and then does? I think hers was a perfectly normal reaction! :wink:

My reaction probably would've included something along the lines of babbling like a blithering idiot which probably would've made him laugh, then hoping and praying.. I didn't change his mind about kissing me after I did that. :wink:
