Long years ago I did hope when I sang a song about having a dream that brotherhood would come to the world and that people would listen to the message in the song.
A candle was to lead the path from the darkness and now from my many years back here with the One above, I know that some people did indeed embrace the words and the message that I tried to get across while many other people chose not to see the light, and to hear what the words meant to the songwriter, to me as the singer or to what the world needed to have given as a gift when the song was released.
I can see now, these many years later and from a different vantage point, that it was a lofty goal for the writer to put words to song and then to trust me to try to get what the intent of the words out so that the world could understand the messages.
People will gather in Memphis in a short time to pay tribute to me but I wish instead that they would gather together and form the brotherhood so badly not there then and so crucially needed today in the place where I lived when in my physical form. Earth.
My heart still has the hope that someday soon all people will see the light, that they will respond to the path it will lead them to and then I can know that my work there was not in vain.
I am here where it is so very beautiful that no words can describe the pure joy felt each instant that passes here. My friends and family that I loved and who loved me are here and we share laughter and happiness but we never, along with the One above, lose sight of the dream that all people will one day be together in a brotherhood that nothing can ever tear apart again. Ever.
Remember me with love if you want to but more importantly work in a way that is possible for you to try to make the dream come true. All of the dream.

When a frail and small baby was born on a cold, cold day in January of 1935 the world could not possibly imagine the cultural and musical changes that the baby, when grown to be a man, would bring to this place called earth, his smile, those eyes that were such a clear and beautiful blue that it was easy, oh so easy, to fall into them as though we too could 'see' what this baby having grown to be a man, also could see.
He called us to him and we answered that call because we were supposed to. It was by the design of the ONE above that Elvis survived that day, when his twin did not. We loved the man named Elvis and still 72 years later, we are still caught in the endless blue of those eyes and always loving to watch or to hear him sing with a voice that needed no
enhancement to be heard. That 73 smile is there when I close my eyes and I can see and know he was okay then, even if just for awhile...
Unlike entertainers of today, Elvis had a charsmatic ability to draw the masses to him and in that process free will was given out to us to learn and also to be amazed by the richness of a voice that can not be made silent until the planet earth itself is gone.
We wait then knowing the time is drawing near for us to justly find our way to the ONE above, and to sit by HIS side while we listen for the joyous song of the man who had the courage to try what others would not, and this world, as we know and experience it, was made better because he was here and he did what too many were afraid to do. He shared the gifts the One above gave to him before he sent him on his journey to earth and when the time was right; Elvis' spitit was called back to his first home.
Always we will love Elvis until our hearts no longer beat.
Thank you, Elvis, and thank you to the ONE above for sending Elvis to us, even for the brief number of years he was to be here.

I= inspiration that Elvis gives to me to help me want to discover my spiritual path

S= spectacular in so many, many ways


P= passion that he put into each song he sang

R= romantic

E= envied by so many just for being himself and when he had to be "Elvis"

S= sadness that he had to leave us too soon

L= light that he gives to my heart when he sings

One morning of 1971, I awaked and found in the table by the bed's side, that little poem I wrote while sleeping! It was written in English, in a better English than I could speak at the time. I relate it to Elvis, because he was always part of my longing:

I gaze through
my closed eyelids
the world I dream,
this ghost of life
I share with you.

Nothing is impossible
in this wandering place.

Now I know I was dreaming of Numis'OM. A second thought: Or was it not me the dreamer? Maybe he was the one telling me.

About a year later, I wrote also in my current poor English (in anticipation):

Something great will happen
sometime, somehow
there will be a place,
there will be someone.
A time to spend together,
a world to build,
a dream for dreaming
a Life to live.

I'll know when the time comes
that I'm right there.
Something for keeping,
the reason of everything.

The past and the present
are going to build
that time for me.
