all those 30 yrs
but our angel, you teach us how
to smile amongst the tears

i hope your proud of who we are
in it you had a hand
different lives and people from every land

when you inspire a sweet poem
people say but you didnt know im
in reply to that , i say your wrong
elvis to us lives through his song

i know more about you elvis , than some ive met
id love to see you, but not just yet
so carry on with the heavenly slumber
as us your fans increase in number

so on aug 16th that fatefull day
we will remember you in each our own way
so god grant me the faith to love others
as i love my own
with you forever in our hearts Elvis , we never feel alone

so with that these words will cease
in hope you forever have peace
your life, your love , your songs and films a plenty
with all these things we never feel empty

to send you love is all we seek
so good night darling and sweetly sleep
love and respect always and forever
will we forget you , NO NOT EVER
