Yesterday I had what seemed more a vision than a meditation. It went like this:

I heard Elvis' voice saying that we should take out the clown within us and laugh, laugh...

Then I saw the Field of Roses' friends seated making a circle inside the shrine El'vis has in his garden in Numis'OM. We were happily clapping hands, following the rithm of music (can't remember clearly, but I think it was Elvis' music).

Very soon the action changed, because there was El'vis chasing Zey-Zia, playing hide and catch, both laughing and screaming joyfully, along with the laughs of all the rest. Wanda was a little appart, half behind a column, amused but not quite rendered to the game.

I can recall there: Laurie-Elisia (dressed in white), Christine-Sarena (in light greenish robe), Maia (very full of Light, almost ethereal), Marjorie, Julie Sharon Rose... and many more that I can not see in detail. It seems that I'm not there seated, but as sharing and witnessing without a physical presence.

The message I get is that we need to laugh as much as we can, to heal and to help us throught any kind of difficulties. We'll need to laugh more and more as time passes by. It's something like being anchored in the JOY OF LIFE rather than in grief or other negative feeling.

What an inspiring vision!! After so much difficulties around so many of us it's time to have fun and look at the bright side of this stage act we are playing!!

As I said some days ago after reading Barbara Lea's story about Elvis cheering up some girl: ELVIS HAS A REMEDY FOR EVERY MALADY!!

Let's use it and have a laugh!!

What a wonderful vision Amanda, and so timely because many of us on the forum are going through hard times now.
And what you say makes much sense. We do not help our circumstances by being negative; advice I must admit I haven't always followed. I seem to do much better with positive thinking when I'm not around certain folks pressuring me.

What also came to mind is Julie's red nose picture which she posted earlier in the General topic. Perfect symbol for clowns and laughter.

Also, I think it's time again I put on the 1969 laughing version of Are You Lonesome Tonight.

Yes, that's right! Probably we had the same inspirator...

That laughing version is very inspiring too. I use it often!
