Dear Carola,
I loved this, thank you! For some time, I've been focusing on the truths highlighted by this teacher, but I've never "mastered" it. The day my father died I was talking to a woman he loved very, very dearly, and she recommended a book called Ask and It Is Given. If you've never read the book, well, you can imagine what it's about by the title! Later, as I became more and more interested in Elvis, I got a copy of The Impersonal Life. Now, The Secret is everywhere in bookstores here in the US, and A Course in Miracles. All of these seem to be saying the same thing, with different words. I just happened to find another book at a bargain sale called Write It Down, Make it Happen, which carries the same philosophy. I have yet to devote myself wholeheartedly to the task of self-improvement by this wisdom, but even the little bit of work I've done seems to have made my life happier. Remarkably happier.
I realized that it's taking me time to LEARN how to be content with happiness; to feel "at home" with happiness. I used to have many self-destructive habits and tendencies. I even alienated some people whom I really, truly love. It's like I was always trying to prove what a survivor I am by deliberately getting into extremely tough situations. I'm coming out of that and seeing the sunshine and marvelling at how beautiful life can be.
I'll be using a lot of positive thinking to try and thwart a difficult labor and delivery of my son this summer. Or should I not say "try"? I WILL have a relatively easy labor and childbirth. No....it'll be REALLY EASY, a piece of cake!

That baby will just fly out and smile at me.
Well, I"m trying. Thank you so much for sharing this enlightened idea with us through this fine video, I think sharing ideas increases their power.
Love & gratitude,
Trish
