I know of two suits with Egyptian designs.

This is one called Egyptian Pharao

This one is often called Inca gold leaf, but it looks Egyptian

And I have read about suits called 'White Egyptian bird' and 'blue Egyptian bird' but I don't know exactly what they looked like.

Maybe someone can help out?

In 1976 Elvis had 4 suits done alike except two had white sleeves and blue body and two had blue sleeves and white body. All 4 had on the front beautifully done and worked with jewels and gold, Egyptian Vultures (birds) that were the sacred birds who watched over the temples, I believe. Those were the suits he also called his "bicentennial suits" because those were the ones he wore for that year...and the vultures were representive of that time but I can't say what that "time" was as I don't think he explained it. Maia probably knows what he was thinking of and comparing to as she is pretty swift on that and can come up with answers. wjh

In ancient Egypt the vulture was associated with the godess Nechebet. She was the patron deity of the city of El Kab.
The vulture is also the symbole of the mother godess Mut.

Honestly, I fail to see the link with Elvis.

Maybe he just loved the design.

For anyone who is interested :
The vulture is always associated with female deities. Sometimes Nefertari (one of the wives of Ramses the great) is shown wearing a vulture head dress. She wore this 'crown' because she identified herself with Ahmes Nefertari, who was the wife of Amenhotep III. Amenhotep III was the father of Akhenaten.

Ahmes Nefertari

By the way, Ahmes Nefertari has a black skin, because black was associated with fertility. The fertile land of Egypt was black.

I'm sure I spelled her name wrong... Elvis thought he had some kind of tie to her-that maybe he had stolen her from her husband who was a ruler. He said he dreamed about her-when he was 11 years old and went to school and looked it up in a book and that he had no memory of ever hearing about any of that until he looked it up and read about it-then he still sometimes had "these dreams" some of them were scary for him and some he was very curious about and felt as if he "had been there" at the time and the dreams were "memories" of another time, another life. Then he began talking to people from different places and the place in Virginia that Maia knows about and I can't think of the man's name-he was a "reader" who went into trance and foretold things past and present Edgar Cace...got it! But that's probably not the correct spelling of his last name. Anyway, that's were Elvis "confirmed" his former life in Memphis Egypt...at least he thought he did. wjh

hey sweet ladies,

thanks Renetunet for your wonderful picture of the bird
ooooooooooh yes there is the link to Egypt.
Wanda do you mean Nefertiti or Nefertari
DId he dream about this lady...
I am waiting for your reply Wanda, then maybe i can come with a piece of the puzzle.

Because I knew Nefertiti, i was her 'person of confidence', When I died i was 27 years old. Also believe my name was Kiya.
Indeed El'vis had several connections i strongly believe with Egypt, i asked Larry Geller about it when he was her in Antwerp, several years ago and he was astonished about what i was asking, he looked very strange, could not hardly speak and then said 'oh mam i cannot talk about this!' ??????????????

Wanda, also the man you mentioned is Edgar Cayce, very spiritual man.

TLC
Kira
