I missed that indeed, so thanks for bringing it back to the top!

Daya Mata manages to capture the essence of what Elvis was and still is in those few sentences. It´s the answer to all those questions about what happened and why he´s not around today.

The spiritual power he possessed was and is a blessing for us, but for him it meant he could be his own worst enemy at times...

Thanks again everyone!

Ingrid

You're welcome, ladies! Sri Daya Mata wrote a book entitled "Only Love" that Elvis read, I understand. She's a very precious and deeply spiritual human being and can understand why Elvis would have felt drawn to her! :) :D

What Sarena wrote in yellow was:

Quote:
"...Why couldn't we have changed his fate so as to keep him alive? Well, the simple truth is that Elvis's spirit was powerful. It remains powerful. He was able to express that spirit throughout his life in ways that reached millions. That is a cause for joy.

The choices he made are the choices he made. But the choices we can now make is to gently move through our pain and confusion and CELEBRATE HIS SPIRIT. IN A VERY REAL SENSE, HE STILL LIVES. HE ALWAYS WILL."

Dear Rose-Lyn,

Each time there appears a text in a clear color that makes it hard to read (due the former Forum's design with a darker background), my trick is to select it like we do when we are intending to copy, and then the letters come to light. :P

It's my pleasure, Sue!

I wouldn't let Rose-Lyn -or anybody also interested- loose the wise words of Daya Mata on Elvis. I couldn't agree more...! :P

LOVE to YOU too! :hello:
