Thank you for posting your poem, Julie. It is very touching. I know it would bring tears to Elvis' eyes. He was very sentimental.

Hi Julie, glad to have you aboard. :D You have a creative gift! Elvis loved poetry, so I’ve no doubt he would love your poem, but would probably also be humbled by it. What a heartfelt dedication to him.

Hi, That was a wonderful tribute and you have talent girl-Elvis would be humbled, he might even stutter...and he would cry-maybe not in front of you, but you'd see it in those eyes. He was a tender hearted guy, and wasn't all that afraid to let it show. That's what I liked about him-even on stage he let his feeling show sometimes. And off, well... his heart WAS on his sleeve. One of the guys said that, don't remember right now who, but I read it recently on this site I think. He did wear it right out there for anyone to touch...and he let them...welcomed it even. Good job Julie, thank you very much for sharing it here. wjh

This is a very beautiful poem you wrote, Julie!

It brought tears to my eyes--which is very easy to do---something I have in common with our boy. :D

Welcome to ELC, Julie!

Sincerely,
Victoria

Right on Sue- that is what it is all about and more people need to stop and think about that as they are rushing around keeping up with living. This site is kind of a little break from daily cares, stress and lonliness- reminds me of someone we all know and love-huh? Something he would be doing today... Maia and Simeon are carrying on the "family" tradition and we get to be there! wjh
