i can't help but feeling sad for Elvis. in my eyes Gracelan should be respected and preserved as it is. too many chages has been done by cilla and that is enough. why try to take avay the magic and the degnity by turning it into a darn circus :(

I COMPLETELY agree with you Maral and thanks for providing the links. Graceland should be left alone to stand out in all of it's natural beauty to represent one of the things that meant so very much to Elvis--a place to truly call HOME. It was his only refuge and place of solace and now they're talking theme parks????? :?:   :x Disney World and Disney Land aren't enough for these people?? :x Why oh why do they have to mess with Elvis's precious Graceland?? How much money will ever be enough for these people????

Unfortunately, enough money will probably never be enough.

I have read many different articles about Mr. Sillerman, who now owns 85 per cent of all profits made off of Elvis Presley.
My personal opinion is that Elvis' greatest legacy is being over-looked and that is his genuine love for everyone. He loved his fans and they loved him, too.
Knowing that Sillerman has plans to put a casino up very near Graceland and that he plans to tear down the Heartbreak Hotel--it was not built until later-- but it is still significant and all of the other changes he has in mind "to take Elvis to a new level" bothers me a great deal.
EPE licences so much junk that it evidently does not care what or how awful it makes the legacy of this beautiful man appear to fans who know nothing about him,
I find solace in knowing Elvis is safe with the One above but the greed of EPE is endless.

I agree with you 100% on everything you've said here Marjorie. :( It all just breaks my heart. The only thing that does bring comfort, like you said is in knowing that he is safe with the One above.

As people who are a family who love being a family we can only seek solace with each other here. We can hope and we can fream that Sillerman leaves Elvis' beautiful and gentle Graceland alone. That is my wish.
