Julie, I had to laugh when you mentioned the jam doughnuts that we on this side of the Atlantic would call jelly doughnuts. My daughter and I were lucky enough to visit London on a trip to Europe last year, and we noticed that what we call just "muffins" were called "American muffins." She looked at me somewhat puzzled and asked, "Then what are English 'muffins'?" We both started laughing because it dawned on us that what we call "English muffins," you all just call muffins. Duh! Anyway, we loved the visit and would love to go back and spend more time, especially when it's not so cold and windy. (This was March.)

Yeah, the whole forum system was down from Wednesday through Friday as they were doing something to all the forums. I missed those two days, too. :(
