Thank you so very much for your kind wishes. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. Today we got up at 4:30 AM to hit the stores early. We needed some Christmas decorations and decided to get out early before all the hoopla started. Here in the US, the day after Thanksgiving is called Black Friday. A lot of the stores open at 4:00 AM and have huge sales going on. I heard on the news that the malls were quite busy and there were people on the roads at 2:00 AM getting to the malls. Isn't that silly? We have never done this before, but we got 40% off our decorations for showing up at 6:00AM, so it paid off for us. We didn't dare go through a mall today.

We are cutting way back this year because of my husband's lay-off from work. Geez, there is nothing I need or want anyway. I have so much to be grateful for. I don't need "stuff" to fill me up. One of my biggest bonuses this year was when I found ELC or is it that ELC found me? :) Also, Elvis came to me and helped me so much. Someone should keep track of all the people who say that Elvis came to them and helped them. I bet the numbers would be staggering. I have found a new family here with the kindest people I have ever talked to. It really has been a good year for me in spite of the hiccups here and there.
